this is pretty much just going to be me talking about how I realized I was aro ace, things I go through that may be different than other people because I am, and things like that. If you're ace and or aro then yay I hope you like it and can relate...
So here are just some of the characters I think/hope/want to be ace. If you've read or watched any of these please comment and tell me what you think!
In the Ranger's Apprentice series (it's a really fun medieval fantasy type series kind of for kids but really nice to read and has a great story) there's a side character named George. George is a total nerd, he goes to scribe school and becomes a scribe. Anyway he never gets married or anything in the series and to me he just gives off ace vibes. I love George he's great.
In the Poppy War trilogy by R. F. Kuang (absolutely love this trilogy it's amazing!) there's a character named Kitay. Not a big spoiler but Kitay becomes really close to Rin and they have a super strong friendship. Though he's really close to Rin there is nothing romantic about their relationship, and Rin actually likes another dude. Honestly their friendship stood out to me so much because it's a such a strong platonic relationship and kind of helped me realize I'm ace. Anyway Kitay never shows interest in romance that I remember and I just feel like he could easily be ace. I JUST LOOKED IT UP AND EVIDENTLY KITAY IS CONFIRMED ARO ACE I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!

I've heard people think Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter could be ace and I can really see that.
There's a cool murder mystery show called Monk that was made in the early 2000s. The main character, Adrian Monk, seems heteromantic asexual to me. He was married and really loved his wife but never had kids, and he never that I remember ever talks about or refers to having sex or anything like that. He really screams ace to me and I hope he is.
As I mentioned before I think Odo in Deep Space Nine is aro ace. I'm only in the second season but so far he doesn't seem to be attracted to people and I just feel like he is. I love Odo he's nice and sarcastic.
I almost forgot about Perry! Perry the platypus from Phineas and Ferb is confirmed ace I'm pretty sure, and who doesn't love that wonderful crime fighting platypus.
