"Could you pass me the eggs please" Leopolda asked
"Yeah here" Mari handed Leo the basket that held eggs
"Oh do you remember when papa used to take us out every Monday to go see abuela so she can teach us how to make Tamales" Raquel said while mixing the minced meat
"Yeahh, I would take some of Crema Catalana left overs and lick the bowl clean" Mari said laughing due to her remembering the memory
"I will never forget the time when I thought that bowl was clean, I drank soup out of it" Leopolda said disgusted. They laughed at her remembering that she threw up non stop that night "no seriously I got really sick"
"We know Leo we couldn't sleep that night cause you were screaming all night" Mari recalled
"Mari when is Diego coming back?" Leo asked
"Oh Aryce just went to pick him up from her moms house-" the door slammed open, shadowhunters marched threw
"Mari we need to talk" Alec said not realizing that there were two more warlocks there, he walked to the kitchen with three shadowhunters by him and one vampire
"Alec? Guys? Okay since when did you become besties with the gang in tats?" Leo said confused
"And a vampire" Simon adds
"And a vampire" Leo corrected
"what are you guys doing? it's a Monday morning" Simon asked
"Says the vampire" Raquel mumbled "we're making food"
"Food?" Jace asked still confused
"Yeah, food. It's tradition" she answered
"Anyways we guys need your help" clary interrupts
"We're off the table red, today is our day off" Raquel declined
"Please Raquel we really need your help we can't do this without you" Izzy pleaded, Raquel then looked Izzy in the eye, then looked at the other shadowhunters plus the vampire with hope in their eyes waiting for a yes, she then looked at her sisters discussing telepathically, she sighed and patted her hands together and cleaned them on her apron and said
"bueno" Raquel said while leaving the kitchen to go to the living room
"What's so important that we had to stop our abuela's food?" Leo asked annoyed
The shadowhunters stat in-front of the 3 warlocks on the long couch while the Mari sat on the single couch and her sisters sat on the couch hands crossing their hands
"So?" Raquel asked
"Valentine is in Vegas"
