"What was it anyway?" Alec asked Raquel as they sat at the hospital coffee shop
She removed her head from her hands and looks at him
"It was my fathers," she looks him in the eyes "have you ever heard of the obelisk of the elements?" His eyes widened at the name
"But that's an ancient artifact" he said
"Yeah the angels gave it to my father- shocker I know, angels giving a demon blooded warlock an ancient artifact-" she said then taking a sip from her coffee
"Okay why tho? Why did they give it to him?" He asked wanting to know more
"You're really out there huh?" She asked him while he just shrugged "I don't really know- the only thing I know is that before my father died he gave this to me to keep it safe- and now Valentine has it" she put her head back on the table dramatically and saying "we're never gonna get it back!"
"Okay negative Nancy" Alec murmured
She lifted her head back up her eyebrows frowning "did you just quote me?" He looked at her and said "you did just quote me" she smirked proudly
"I'm rubbing off on ya aren't I?" She asked her smirk getting devious, he nodded a no denying the fact that "no no I am trust me" he nodded again "no I am oh I definitely know I am I don't need you to say otherwise" she said while flipping her hair off her shoulder, while she was dramatically flipping her hair off her shoulder he slightly smiled at the view, but that smile didn't go unnoticed by Raquel, they were cut off from staring at each other by the waitress
"Total is 19.25 dollars" she said, Raquel pulled out her wallet to pay but Alec put out a 20 dollar bill out before her
"Being a gentleman are we?" She smirked while he rolled his eyes at her playfully, then she got a call from her sisters "gimmi a second" she left him to answer the phone
"Hello"
"Hey Raquel i am on my way to you right now, please tell me your still at the hospital" Charlotte asked
"Y-yeah I am" Raquel answered her"why what's wrong?"
"Okay look I know somethings up-" Charlotte was cut off by a loud crash
"Charlotte! Charlotte! What happened!?" Raquel screamed through the phone
"Hey what's wrong?" Alec asked as he came by her side
"Charlottes in trouble- we gotta find her"
Alec nodded as they left the hospital to find Charlotte

"What happened?" Luke asked as Alec and Raquel brought in Charlotte carrying her by each side as they entered the jade wolf
"Some wolf crashed her car- the wolf scratched her- she's gonna turn Luke" Raquel said
"Oh shit- okay leave her here and you need to leave- you can't be here when she turns" Luke told them
"-no no I'm staying here" Raquel argued
Luke looked at Alec while the two other wolfs carried a screaming Charlotte to the back, Alec nodded and grabbed Raquel's arms forcing her to look at him
"Hey! Look at me, she's gonna be okay- she's safe, but in a while were aren't gonna be safe okay? So we gotta leave" Alec told her, she tried to protest but gave in and left leaving Alec still in there
Alec huffed and left after her,
"Hey!" He shouted to try to get her attention "wait!"
"What Alec what?" She shouted back stopping in her tracks, she caught him off guard, she instantly regretted raising her voice at him, he never did anything wrong in the first place he was just trying go help "-alec- I'm sorry I didn't mean it-"
"-it's okay your fine but you need a breather -clearly" he cut her off -"just inhale- and exhale" he demonstrated
"Okay" she obeyed "thanks" she breathed out, then they heard a high pitch scream coming from the inside of jade wolf
"We should probably go" Raquel said quickly while Alec hummed in response wanting to get thr hell out of there

"What happened?" Marianna asked the Shadowhunter and the warlock who where drenched in blood
"Charlotte got attacked by a wolf-" Raquel said
"Is she turning?" Leo asked
"As we speak" Raquel answer everything
"Hey come with me, you both need a shower" Izzy said while dragging Raquel by the arm to her room
As they reached izzy's room, Izzy handed Raquel a towel and lead her to her shower,
The water was warm, it ran through her sling washing all the blood away, she looked at her hands rubbing off her bloody fingers, looking down she realized that this wasn't normal, nothing in her life was normal at that point, she has been through so much and is been on too much pressure,
After the shower Raquel used a towel to cover her bare body and one to cover her hair, when's he exited izzy's bathroom she saw cloths laying there an almost black corset top with black skinny jeans, her outfit complemented her figure, she scoffed and rolled her eyes at the cheesy note Izzy left that said
