Alec had his hand on Raquels lower-back, having her close by his side
"Guys, that was incredible" Simon said utterly amazed "It was like watching the live version of The Graduate. You know, the Dustin Hoffman movie? The amazing one? You were Ben. Elaine! And you were Elaine.I mean, a... a taller, masculine, handsome version of her. But at the altar, though, you were like...Ben! And then... and then now, you're both sitting on the bus at the end of the movie, both totally stoked, but wondering, like...What're we gonna do now?- You know?" He said acting out in excitement
"Who invited the vampire?" Alec said as he furrowed his brows
"Seriously?" Simon said offended
"I'm so happy for you bro" Jace patted alecs shoulder as Alec smiled
"Didn't know you had the balls lightwood" Leo said approaching them with Magnus and Mari
"I'm happy my way of convincing you worked" Mari nodded, saying it proudly

"Much as this will shock Raquel, my visit tonight wasn't all for her" Magnus said as the Shadowhunters, warlocks and vampire were walking to the table on the middle of the institute, "We need to speak privately. I pulled every item of magical importance from Ragnor's belongings. But I can't determine which will lead to the Book of the White"
"Wait, this bookmark. I've seen it before" clary cut in "In the alternate dimension you showed me a book of spells, and this was in it. It must have been the Book of the White"
"If that's the case, we can use the bookmark to track the owner of the book" Alec suggested
"Okay" Jace said as he folded up his sleeve, walking to Alec
"Warlock tracking is stronger" Raquel said as she grabbed the book mark and left with her sisters to a more private room to do the spell
"Well, there's good news and bad news" Leo said as the sisters came back "The good news is we know the owner"
"The bad?" Alec asked
"It's Camille" Marianna answered
"Camille?" Clary asked shocker that it was the Camille she punched when they saved Simon
"Looks like Raphael has her locked up in the basement of the Hotel DuMort-" Raquel said, sitting on the small desk
"Well, after I punched her, there's no way she'll help me" clary muttered, meaning for everyone to hear
"She won't have a choice" Jace came up to her side "Trust me"

"I'm so glad we got away from that crowd and all those people. So intense" Alec said as he and Raquel were walking in the halls
I have to hand it to you, Alec ...you certainly know how to make a statement" his mother said angrily while approaching the two "What have you done, Alec? To us, this family?"
"This isn't about you" Alec was getting angry
"-Of course it is. You are either being selfish or naive. This wedding was your plan from the start. And now you have humiliated us in front of the most respected members of the Clave. -I don't even recognize you anymore" Maryse shouted at her son
"I'm the same person I've always been- Now everything's just out in the open" Alec argued back
"And all for a Downworlder" Maryse said huffed and left
"Just give her time" Robert said

"I don't really understand this." He exhaled looking between the two "But I suppose our world is changing. How long has this been going on? Are you two in love?"
"Love? What? No" Alec said flustered not knowing what to say "No, it's... it's, uh, it's sort of a different... It's not..."
"It's all very new" Raquel cut in sparing him the frustration
"Right. I better go check on Mom"

"You know what I just realized?" Raquel asked as Alec looked at her farrowing his brows "We still haven't gone on our date yet"
"Yeah, you're right" he answered looking down at his shoes, then looking back up at her "You wanna...I don't know, get a drink sometime?
"Cliche but I'd love that" she answered laughing
