"Cat?" hearing her sweet voice makes Cat snap back to reality.
"Cat are you ok?" Ladybug asks who is obviously concerned.
"Yes I'm alright," Cat said with a smile, "What activity do you want to do next?" he asked genuinely.
Ladybug's heart raced, Is he wanting me to hang out with him?!
"Ooh definitely the beam!" Ladybug tried not to sound too excited but a uncontrolled, stupid grin escaped her lips.
Cat smiled and they walked across the floor where Fox and Bee were doing cartwheels and handsprings.
"Wow! Nice landing Bee!" Fox said when Bee landed a front handspring beautifully, she was impressed.
"Thank you Fox!" Bee said grinning from ear to ear, "You not too bad yourself!"
Ladybug turned her attention back to Cat who nudged her slightly.
"I'm really hoping that if Bee gets the right friends, she will start to be kinder to everyone."
"Oh yeah, yeah definitely," Ladybug said in a daze because she was busy staring at his gorgeous green eyes. He looked down at her and smiled. She blushed and turned away.
Pig, Ox, and Mouse were on the first beam so Cat led Ladybug over to the second beam.
"You go first," he said kindly.
She took his hand and he helped her onto the high beam.
"What does the list say?" she asked while balancing on the thin beam.
"Umm... two high kicks, four jumps, two split jumps, a handstand, and a cartwheel." Cat replied, reading the sheet of paper beside the beam.
Taking a deep breath, Ladybug started her 'routine'. She got through the first two tricks but when she came to the split jumps she wobbled a bit. Cat put his hands out to catch her but she regained her balance and finished the split jumps.
Ok Mari. You can do this. It's only your crush that's watching your every move! She tried to calm herself down and Cat said.
"You're doing great!" giving her the thumbs up.
Ladybug lowered her hands into a handstand, she balanced for almost 10 seconds and then came down and stood with poise, ready for the cartwheel.
"Good job!" Cat said encouragingly, making Ladybug look over to him.
She lost her balance and fell off the beam, Cat lurched himself towards her but it was too late. Ladybug crashed into the ground with her left wrist bent under her body.
"Marinette!" Cat yelled, catching the attention of the others in the gym. He knelt down beside her and held her (right) hand, "Marinette are you ok?" he whispered to her.
Ladybug groaned and winced as she took out her limp hand from under her back, "I don't think my hands ok," she forced a small smile.
By this time Fox had run over with Bee, "Oh no!" Bee cried.
Cat scooped Ladybug up in his arms and held her close, he threw his phone at Turtle, "Can you ring Gorilla? I going to take her to the hospital."
Turtle dialed the number and Fox stood back and raised an eyebrow at Bee, then they started whispering.
"Adrien..." Ladybug said quietly, "Don't worry about me. I'll get my dad to come pick me up."
"Gorilla is on his way," said Turtle putting the phone in Cat's hand.
"See Mari. It's all going to be fine," Cat said smiling at her.
"Do you want me to come?" Fox offered with Bee standing behind her.
"No. You stay here and enjoy yourself. I won't be long," Ladybug said and gave Fox the 'bestie eyes'.
Fox gave her the thumbs up and winked.
"Adrien, you know I can walk right?" Marinette said as Adrien carried her out of the gym.
"I know," he said softly but didn't put her down until they got to the limo outside.
