Miraculous Slumber Party

~Chapter 10~

A flustered Marinette returned to the truth or dare circle, Adrien was already there and he smiled up at her.

She gave him a weak smile back and took her seat next to Alya.

Confused, Adrien made his way over to her, "Hey? Are you okay?" he whispered.

Marinette snapped out of it, "Y-yeah, I'm okay," and turned back to face the circle.

"Ok," he responded quietly and shuffled over to Nino.

"Hey what's up dude?" Nino asked.

"Nothing! I just wanted to sit next to you," Adrien said.

"What's been going on with you and Mari?" 

Adrien blushed and said, "What do you mean?! N-nothings going on... Especially not with umm Marinette!" he mumbled.

"Wow dude you're a wreck!" Nino commented staring him in the eye, "You sure nothings going on?"

Adrien nodded staring at the ground, not making eye contact with his best friend.

Nino's eyes widened and he lowered his voice.

"You like Marinette!"

Adrien grabbed his friend's head and pulled it towards him, "Nino! Shh! Someone will hear you!" and then Adrien realized what he had done. 

"Adrien!" Nino teased, grinning at him.

The blond groaned, "Please don't tell Alya! She will spill!"

Nino wriggled uncomfortably, "She's kinda my girlfriend..."

"That doesn't mean you have to tell her this!"

"But she will flip when she hears this especially because Marinette is totally cr..." he stopped himself before he said too much.

Alya thinks we should let them figure it out on their own. It's too hard! They're so close! Nino thought.

"Marinette is what?" Adrien asked.

"Nothing!" Nino said nervously, and Alya leaned over.

"What are ya'll talking bout?"

"Umm.." Adrien said.

"Errr..." from Nino, "Going to the pool! Yeah my man Adrien thinks we should go to the pool!" he grabbed Adrien by the head and held him close.

"No I didn't!" Adrien mumbled.

"Yes you did bro!" Nino nudged him, Why is he so dense!

"Oooh! That's a cool idea!" Alya said and she whispered this to Nino.

"Bikini time!" 

Nino blushed and let go of Adrien's head.

"Chloe?" Alya asked sweetly, "Can we go in the pool?"

"Of course!" Chloe squealed, she was really quite proud of her house, especially the pool area.

It took about 7 minutes for everyone to get changed and they all made their way up to the pool on the roof.

"Crap!" Marinette whispered to Alya, she had her towel covering her bikini, "Adrien is going to see me in a bikini!"

"Relax girl!" Alya giggled, "It's practically dark! Is it the pink one?"

Marinette nodded.

"Perfect! He'll love it!" she let out a squeal and fiercely whispered something in Nino's ear. He had told Alya about Adrien's feelings and the couple were determined to get them together.

 The roof had a pool lit up with lights, and a spa with colourful LED lights.

"So much for 'it'll be dark'," Marinette mumbled to herself as her classmates ran into the sparkling water.

"Are you coming in Marinette?"

The girl jumped and turned around. And one word entered her mind.

Abs.
