Miraculous Slumber Party

~Chapter 11~

Marinette's face turned the brightest shade of red and she slightly reluctantly dragged her eyes back up to his face.

"Y-yeah!"  she stuttered and he grinned at her.

He extended his arm for her to take, "Shall we M'lady?" he winced, he needed to stop calling her that. It reminded him of Ladybug and then Adrien felt nothing but guilt about his secret feelings for Marinette.

Marinette froze. M'lady. Cat Noir. She paused and thought for a second. I wonder why Cat Noir asked me about Nathanael? And then lied about texting Ladybug texting him. AND WHY DID HE KISS MY HAND!?!?!

Marinette realized that Adrien was still holding his arm out, she blushed again and reached out to take his arm.

They strolled over to the spa and Adrien, being the chivalrous man he is, held her hand while she walked up the steps.

"Heyyyy guys!" Alya grinned as she pulled Nino over to the spa, "Mind if we join?"

"Not at all," Adrien smiled at his best friend's girlfriend, "But be warned. The water is really hot."

"Are you sure it's just the spa?" Alya asked sweetly.

The four best friends chatted for a minute or so and things got a bit 'violent' when Nino came close to spilling about Marinette's crush.

"Nino!" Alya hissed and splashed him with water.

"Nino!" he mimicked her and hiffed a tiny splash her way.

"Don't you mimic me Lahiffe!" she said.

"Oh yeah?" he grinned at her, "And what are you going to do about it?"

"He's in trouble now," Adrien leaned over and whispered to Marinette as Alya raised her eyebrows at Nino. Marinette giggled.

"I'm going to get you," Alya replied.

"Oh yeah? Come get me then," he teased and Alya lashed at him.

The splashing grew wild as Alya thrashed around in the water as Nino tickled her.

Marinette let out a squeal and scrambled closer to Adrien, trying to get away from those vicious lovers.

Nino laughed as he pinned Alya to the side of the spa, "Gotcha," he winked.

"Oh no," Adrien whispered, both his and Marinette's eyes fixed on the lovers.

Alya cupped Nino's face and kissed him long and hard, Nino's hands tussled her partially wet hair.

"Get a room you guys!" Alix yelled from the pool and everyone stared at the friends in the spa.

Alya and Nino blushed and turned back to Adrien and Marinette.

"Looks like you guys need to listen when spoken to," Alya smirked.

Marinette looked down and suddenly realized she was curled up in Adrien's lap. Her arms thrown around his neck.

Adrien blushed slightly and saw what Alya meant. Marinette was literally sitting on his lap, and hugging his neck. His arms were wrapped around her waist. 

They turned to face each other. Inches apart they exchanged breath a split second. Adrien felt slightly embarrassed for her with him touching her bare skin.

"I-I'm sorry!" she stuttered and scrambled off him.

I'm not. he thought.

"What did you say?!" Alya gasped.

"I umm, I said, don't worry," he said hesitantly hoping Alya didn't hear him properly the first time. He thought he said it in his head not out loud!

"Oh. I thought you said something else!" Alya breathed eyeing him suspiciously.

Nino and Alya started whispering and Adrien turned towards Marinette.

"I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable," he said apologetically.

"It's okay," she smiled at him and suddenly felt quiet brave. She leant forward and looked him up and down, "You're not a bad cushion."

Adrien blushed and held her gaze. They grinned again at each other and burst out laughing. He didn't know this side of Marinette. She was confident and cute. Cheeky and a bit flirty.

"I've got to go." He said almost reluctantly breaking her gaze, "I forgot to text Nathalie to cancel my photoshoots tomorrow morning.

"Okay," Marinette said.

"I'll be back in a couple of minutes," he said grabbing his towel and running away.

He made it to lounge where he had left his bag, "Plagg Claws Out!" he yelled and the black kwami transformed him into Cat Noir.

Ahhhhh!! Adrinette is almost sailing! This next chapter is going to be wild!!!
