Milo's head laid against the car window. The sky was dark, and the winds were crisp. Water heavily dropped from the sky to the ground. It was raining harshly, and Milo felt as moody as the weather.

The atmosphere didn't concern Milo, everything seemed to be slightly more peaceful than it had been to begin with, so her heart felt at peace. Jahseh continued to drive against the bumpy wet road, remaining silent.

Milo realised this silence, yet didn't say much else due to the fact that it had given her time to think. This silence allowed her to process the things that she wanted to do once she arrived.

Her mother seemed to be a large concern for Milo. Thinking about how her mother felt based on her absence had her head running wild. She wondered if her mother had rang the police, or kept silent.

Things were yet to settle in for Milo, she didn't know what to expect at all. What if when she gets there, there's nothing left? What if Jahseh didn't take her back, and her family never saw her again? What if things just weren't what they seemed?

Jahseh's eyes met hers in the front mirror. He looked at her and seemed to be at peace. His eyes held slight emotion, he seemed to be content. This gave Milo an idea and slightly conformation in his behaviour. She felt like she was finally going home.

"You okay?" He asked, looking back at her. Milo exhaled, nodding softly. "I'm fine Jahseh"

Jahseh hummed. "We out of gas" he said, grabbing the wheel tighter than he had been before. Milo sat up, looking at him. "Is there a gas station near by?" Jahseh sighed out, turning left and driving down the road that lead to the gas station.

Milo stayed sitting up, now alert. Even though she  knew that they were away from Tallahassee, but the idea of running into more issues due to the detour didn't appease her. Her eyes sat glued on Jahseh's movements.

Jahseh got out of the car, and began to pump his car with gas. He stayed alert, more than Milo really knew. He was aware of the fact that Milo had lost trust in him, but depended on him at the same time. This whole journey caused him to realise that putting her through this wasn't worth the 'reward' he would receive.

Jahseh's body ached, and his hands had grew sore and dry. He looked into the car, and saw Milo leaning against the window. Her eyes met his, and a soft smile grew on his face. Milo looked at him blankly, not sure as to how she should react.
