Milo wiped the tears from her eyes, sighing out in built up frustration. She glanced over at Jahseh, then turned away feeling a slight shame.
She didn't wanna be seen as vulnerable, but her emotions were becoming unbearable and extremely hard to deal with. Milo still felt Jahseh's stare, and his concerned energy that made her feel cared for but weak. Her last wish at this moment was definitely him feeling sorry for her.
Jahseh leaned forward, continuing to look at her. "Milo, I know there's a whole lotta shit that's happened but we deadass gotta keep it pushing-"
Milo scoffed "'Keep it pushing'? Are you fuckin serious? You took me from my home, kept me hostage in your house, tied me up in the same fuckin dress for 3 days,"
Jahseh's tongue glide against his teeth.
"You did this to me Jahseh, this is all because of you and what dead trips me out is your lack of understanding on that."
Jahseh sat back and looked away from Milo, directing his attention to outside the window. He roughly ran his hand through his messy locked short black hair, hand falling back into his lap.
"You can't even look at me. You know that you are the problem here." Milo spoke, eventually sitting back. Jahseh let out small chuckle whilst rubbing his eyes. "Milo if you knew the shit that I've been through, you wouldn't be sitting here tryna tell me what I've done."
Milo's body ran warm with anger, as her head slowly began to fill with a sharp feeling. "No one is taking that shit away from you, but don't fuckin' tell me that I gotta keep pushing. 'Specially when you was the one that caused it." She finally grabbed the door handle, pushing it open.
She exited the car, walking towards IHOP. Jahseh exhaled in defeat. Following her actions, he opened the door locking the car when he left it. The cold wind hit his skin, as he continued to walk towards his next destination.
His eyes were glued on Milo, trying to make sure that she appeared okay. Even though the both of them had had an argument in the car, he still cared for her well-being and still wanted to ensure that she was fine.
The things Milo said in the car did stick with Jahseh, they weighed slightly heavy on his heart. Everything was taken away from her, but what she fails to realise is that this was not all in his hands.
