"When I was a young girl, I used to wonder if I was capable of being happy. Kirena often pointed this out to me multiple times back in Peyene. It turns out that she was right for I have found happiness with Ronan and found friends of varying races. Friends, I have found that I could make easily.
Truthfully, I find myself at a bit of confusion because making friends when I was a child had been a bit of a challenge. Now, however, the concept of doing such had been easy, easier than I've thought. Indeed, Elebeni and I have gotten to the best friends bit. I never thought that I would have a best friend other than my sister. Other than my beloved Kirena.
Elebeni is not the only friend that I have made these past few months. Milayna, Elebeni's sister and queen of a nameless city has become what I would proudly and gladly call friend. And Arsain, Yutrin and Helene.
Arsain had rescued Ronan and me from a band of specters and taught me to use a bow and arrow and began to make me realize the value of friendships. Yutrin had opened his home to me and Kirena who had been gravely injured from Nayuna's tortures, thus I am and will be forever grateful to the kindly dwarven king. And Helene, at her own personal risk had spied on the enemy ranks and spent as much time gathering allies of our own.
And while the upcoming war is coming up, I still have Ronan at my side, his hand warm and familiar, a smile in his face whenever our eyes meet. Now we are married, happily and forever. All I have to do is look down at the ring on my hand and I smile, knowing that whatever happens, we do this together. Right now, with the war against Nayuna going on, I can only look to the sky and be thankful that I have survived another night. I only have to look to the side and I know that I will not be alone in whatever is to come. I know that I will not be alone in this war. For not only do I have friends, but I have my new family; a family that I hope one day will start to grow."
