It's the gremlin, raccoon creature!

Grim snickered upon seeing the surprised look on your face, "Hahah! You've got this stupid look on your face like a spider being attacked by a water gun!"

"Wait, I thought they threw you out?" You asked, lifting an eyebrow at the creature who triumphantly, for some reason, puffed out its chest.

"I'll have no trouble sneaking back to school. Come on, if you think getting thrown out is gonna make me give up on getting in, you've got another thing coming!" It explained and gave you a grin causing you to raise a brow, softly sighing. You wondered why it was desperate to enter the academy.

Speaking of which...

"Oh, about that. Why do you want to be in this academy so badly?" You thought it was somehow rude to ask someone their personal business but you just couldn't help but ask out of curiosity. Other than that, it's just a creature who you've met.

Grim scoffs, "It's simple! I'm a genius who is destined to be the greatest magician!" It raised its paw proudly, face gleaming. "I've been waiting for a carriage to come pick me up. But... but..."

You stared at the creature before you, whose odd ears suddenly dropped down. That's when you approached the solemn raccoon slowly and crouched down before it, sitting on your ankles in the process and stretched a hand to Grim's head. The rough skin of your palm caressing the fur that was oddly soft.

When seeing a face that was similar as Grim's, you remembered how it was similar to Ethan's when he couldn't get what he wanted.

Drip...

"Woah, so cold! The roof is leaking!" The creature shrieked and you stood up from your ankles, dusting your pants. Looking upwards to the ceiling where you saw droplets of rainwater falling on Grim's ears, panicking as it did so when a droplet fell. "It keeps coming! My adorable ears are going to go out at this rate!"

"Hmm." You hummed in thought. "We need to find a bucket..."

"Eh? But magic should fix this leak real quick."

"Oh, I can't use magic."

"Eh?! Can't use-!? Then you're useless!"

You furrowed your brow at its remark, mumbling. "Why you, you're lucky you're fluffy or else I'll kick you out of the dorm. Right here, right now."

Walking away from a laughing Grim, you head towards one of the hallways you've come across earlier, as eerie as it may be to search for any buckets. A shiver went through your nape and traveled to your spine, causing you to stop your tracks. Somehow sensing someone's presence and watching you from afar.

"Hee, hee, hee!"

"Who's there?!" You asked in alert, your body unconsciously formed a stance as your feet were glued on the ground.

Another thing you've least expected in this unknown world, was the cloud of smoke that entered the halls. Until you saw the smoke arranging strangely where you saw three ghosts suddenly cornering you. One of them even floated through you, brushing your chest a cold chill and they laughed creepily.

"Welcome to our castle! The Ramshackle dorm!" They all greeted and the ghost who previously phased through your chest raised its top hat as a greeting.

"It's been a while since we last had visitors!" The ghost with an average figure among the three exclaimed with two other companions just above you; while the other was skinny and the other was slightly chubby.
