The four of you successfully returned back to the mirror chamber safely, but that doesn't mean unscratched when minor scratches and dirt lingered on your now wrinkled clothes. Even the blood on your cheek had already dried on your cheek, thankfully you were the only one who had it while the others remained unscathed except for the dirt smudging on them.

Just when you stepped out the mirror, Crowly had entered at the right moment and seeing the four of you battered. He quickly made his way over, his golden hues examined your group and perked up when he saw a satchel on your very hands.

He, Crowley, didn't expect this at all.

He can only gasp in surprise. "Eh?! You four actually went to the Dwarves mine to look for magic crystals?" Well, Crowley did expect for all of you to give up and face expulsion, it's easier that way yet he still didn't expect you to return with dirt on your faces, especially with the magic crystals in hand. Perhaps your determination is not great to mess with.

"Eh?!"

"Huh?"

The headmaster himself literally allowed the four of you to go to retrieve the crystals about hours ago, and he's saying this now? You thought it was already obvious that you'll go since the four of you can't afford to pay a billion madol worth chandelier. Even the thought of going bankrupt will always haunt you, here you are!

"Ah, well... I never imagined you would really go there. Nor did I expect you to return with the crystals. I was solemnly proceeding with the expulsion procedures." Crowley confessed honestly, eyeing the disheveled four before him while rubbing his chin. Yet his words struck irritation to Grim.

"Nnga! The nerve of this guy! While we were off fighting some crazy beast!" The creature exclaimed in disbelief, causing Crowley to raise a brow in subtle confusion and directly looked at the students. "Beast?" He asked, glancing your way waiting for your explanatory response.

"There was a monster there! It was super gross and very crazy strong, it was awful!" Ace interjected, explaining it with irritation while he could vividly remember the events that happened earlier.

"Could you explain in more detail?" Crowley immediately turned to you with curious eyes that clearly asked for more details and hoped to get a detailed explanation. He watched you nod your head as he began to lead the four of you into his office.

"Oh?" Crowley hummed in mischief as he sat on the edge of his office table while eyeing the four of you. "...A mysterious monster living in the mines. And the four of you worked together to defeat it and returned to the campus with the magic crystals?" It was a repeat of your explanation you gave him, wanting to confirm if any of this was true but you nodded nonetheless.

"We didn't really work together..." Ace mumbled, denying the fact of you four working together while he distracted himself by scratching the back of his neck trying to hide his embarrassment. "It was more like our goals were aligned." Deuce added briefly after Ace.

Crowley's head was lowered down, so you can't be able to see the current expression on his masked face and his office suddenly turned quiet when you noticed the awkward air that lingered on the students and you. With the two hard-headed students or Night Raven denying the situation of working together while you confirmed it without hesitation, confirms it all.
