Where are you?

All you remembered was the platform crumbling beneath you and an unconscious Leona, when suddenly everything turned black. Now, you found yourself standing in a dream-like space, coated with white and grey. A familiar place, to be sure, but a lot different than last time. Now it struck you, you remember having the same experience during Riddle's blot.

The difference was the place was different, a room filled with chairs, tables, and a blackboard at the front. It was a classroom. A calm and quiet classroom filled with books and shelves.

Although what caught your attention was the child in the middle of the room. That familiar long brown hair, the plushy lion ears, and those piercing emerald eyes. It was no doubt a younger version of Leona.

"He looked so calm before..." You said to yourself, knowing younger Leona or no one can hear you. "What in the world happened?"

You watched the younger Leona sitting in the middle of the room with books on his table and reading one. He read and read when footsteps approached the room and you took notice of the door slightly ajar. Light peeked in the room and a shadow of two people dawned over the light, talking beyond the door.

"Farena is born to lead," An adviser spoke to his colleague. "You can see it in the way he presents himself. The boy radiates presence. The people love him!"

"Hmm, that kind of charisma can't be taught. Leona... he's sharp. I'll give him that, but..." The other hesitated with a sympathetic shrug. "It's unfortunate, really. The second sons are often difficult. He won't ever wear the crown and he knows it."

"A shame. If he were born first, maybe... but the crown only takes one."

They both laughed lightly, almost mocking and cruel. But it was just settled in their certainty, a brash truth. However, Leona didn't breathe. His mouth parted slightly but no words came out.

Yet you noticed the way his hand shook with an emotion you are uncertain of, until the book drifts to sand. You only stood there, silent, watching.

"From the moment I was born, there's been a boulder on top of me..."

"That was too heavy to move."

You already suspected to hear him and his thoughts after what happened from the redhead's Overblot. Unlike Riddle, Leona was nowhere to be seen and you couldn't even blame him for avoiding you. This could be his thoughts, said aloud.

You didn't push further and turned away from the scene where it drifted along the wind, and changed. Now there was a deserted land before you, a mountain on the side with the highest peak, and the sun slowly descending from the horizon.

While you stood on a sandstone balcony watching young Leona silently hiding by the pillars. There were attendants passing by and were eavesdropping, forcing the child to hear unwanted gossip. Especially if it's about him.
