This was my first book, so ignore how cheesy and odd it is in some places...
I was woken up again at around 6:30 AM so I decided to just get up for the day.
I picked Beckham up out of his bassinet and lifted my shirt so he could eat. He latched on immediately.
I walked downstairs and got a glass out of the cupboard, and filled it with water. I looked down at my sweet baby boy and just smiled.
I looked up when I heard someone come into the kitchen.
"Oh hey Dems! And Mr. Beckham Nicholas!" Madison cooed and I giggled almost choking on some water.
"Hey Mads! Why are you up so early?" I asked since it was only 6:45 AM.
"I have school.. unless you can convince mom to let me stay home??" She gave me a smile and I shook my head.
"Madison I am a mom now I have to be responsible. You have to go to school. But you can always look at the millions of pictures of Beck that we have taken to make you feel better!" I said referring to the space running out on our phones, amount of pictures.
"Fiiiiine. But I still have a little bit until the bus comes." She said.
I nodded my head and started rummaging through our kitchen to find a snack because I was hungry.
"Where the hell did all the food go?" I asked annoyed.
"Mom hasn't been grocery shopping and neither have you so we are all starving."
"Like that's a bad thing for me." I mumbled looking down at baby.
"What did you say?" My mom asked coming into the kitchen.
"Nothing. Why are you up too?" I asked changing the subject.
"I have some stuff to do today, for example grocery shopping. What's your excuse?" She asked
"I don't sleep anymore." I said and made a motion to the now sleeping baby in my arms.
"Welcome to motherhood sweetheart!" My mom said and I rolled my eyes.
"Well He is generally a good baby he just gets fussy sometimes." I explained.
"How Do you know? He is only a week old?" Madison asked.
"Ummm I just know. Call it mother's intuition." I said laughing.
I felt arms snake around my waist and I turned my head to kiss Nick. Our lips touched and I turned around and laid my head on his chest.
"Good morning gorgeous. Good morning handsome." Nick said and kissed my head and touched Becks face.
"I have my first interview today. Also I told Scooter that I want to take a break from making new music for a bit but I can still do press. I also told him I don't want to do a tour and he said to do whatever makes me happy!" I said excited about how different he is than Phil was.
"Are you sure you want to take a break from music? It's your life." Nick said.
"Yeah I am. You guys are my life. I'll still be writing when I have inspiration but for now I don't want to go into the studio everyday." I explained and he lifted my chin and kissed me.
I kissed back and it got more passionate so we had to pull away.
"Im gonna go get him dressed. I have the cutest outfit idea ever!" I said excitedly and walked upstairs.

I walked out front with Beckham in his car seat. Nick came with us so he could drive to the studio so I kissed him goodbye and Max opened my door so I could buckle us in.
We pulled up to the building and I kept Beck in his car seat for extra safety from the paps. We got out and Sugar and Max helped us get inside.
Even with all the screaming Beck was still asleep when I got to my dressing room. Paul and Siena were waiting for me so I sat on the makeup chair, placing the car seat next to me.
"Oh my god I haven't even seen him in person yet!" Paul said excitedly looking into the car seat.
"He is adorable D! When he wakes up I call dibs on holding him!" Siena said and they just mushed over him.
Soon enough I had my makeup on, which was just a natural face with a brown Smokey eye, liner, and fake lashes.
I walked over to what Siena had brought for me to choose from and I chose a Navy blue jumpsuit with a black belt.
With the way my body looked after having a baby, and not being as fit as I was before, I felt self conscious and wanted to cover my stomach as much as possible.
"Okay sexy Mama! Work that ass!" Paul said and I burst out laughing.
I had to calm myself down so I didn't start tearing up and ruin my incredible makeup.
Soon enough I was told that I had 10 minutes until I go on, so I picked up the car seat and brought him with me to side stage.
"Thank you so much for watching him Max I owe you!" I told him and hugged him.
"No way I am Uncle Max! He's my boy, I got you D. Now get ready to go out there and we will be waiting!" He said and I leaned down to the car seat.
I touched Beckham's face and kissed his cheek. "I love bubba. I'll be back soon, be good for Mama." I told him and stood up.
"Welcome my guest, Demi Lovato!" I heard Ellen say so I walked out onstage and waved to everyone in the crowd before hugging Ellen and sitting down.
"Demi it's so good to see you!"
"It's so good to see you Ellen! I missed you!"
"So you have been up to a lot recently! Do you wanna tell us about it?"
"Well My boyfriend and I found out that I was pregnant, but I was almost done with my album so I kept working on it. I finished it and released it, and I had my son!" I said smiling thinking about the little boy backstage.
"You are a busy woman! So you said your boyfriend?"
"Yes, my boyfriend. His name is Nick Jonas!" I said and everyone cheered.
"Oh I know who he is! Tell us about your album, Unbroken."
"I have been through a lot in the almost 18 years of my life. Music has always been there for me so I wrote songs about it. I put my heart and soul into the album, and I really am so happy with how it turned out!"
"Porscha and I have been listening to it nonstop. It's amazing, and Demi you really are so strong."
"Thank you Ellen it means so much."
"And my favorite question! Tell us about your son!" She said and everyone cheered.
"So my sons name is Beckham Nicholas Jonas and he was born January 29th. He is my pride and joy and my whole world. Nick and I are just so happy." I said with a smile that felt permanent.
"That's so amazing! Where is he right now?"
"He is backstage with my team and my bodyguards. He needs to be with me all the time so he can eat." I explain.
"Would you want to bring him out?"
"Sure!" I said and I walked to Max who met me halfway and took my son from him.
I brought him over and sat back down.
"He is the cutest thing I have ever seen!" Ellen exclaimed and the crowd kept awing.
"Thank you! He is definitely my favorite thing I have ever made!" I said laughing.
