(Grace's Pov)
After quite an exciting start to my day, things quickly started to die down. Later that evening, my mom asked if I wanted to watch a movie with her. I said no and that I was too tired, even though I wasn't. I just couldn't wait to get back to sleep. All of a sudden, I was in the alternate universe. Me and Simon were in my bedroom. I saw my alternate self asleep in my bed. I was shocked by it.
"Simon! Look it's me!" I whispered pointing to my alternate self.
"Don't interact with yourself of touch your alternate self Grace. It causes a major problem of the alternate universe colliding with the real world." Simon explained.
"What?" I asked. I was really confused.
"Just don't touch or talk to your alternate self, ok?"
"Ok," I agreed as we tip-toed out of my bedroom.
"Do you have any idea where your father is?" Simon asked.
"Not really. His body was never found. I think I remember where his car crashed though. It will take us ages to get to it if we walk," I sighed.
"Your right," he said looking sorry. My eyes suddenly exploded with tears. I was so close to finding my dad again, but still so far. I couldn't handle it.
"Everything will be ok," Simon tried to comfort me. He approached me like he was going to hug me, but then backed away. I reached for his arms and hugged him. We stood there for a very long time, in my bedroom, in the dream.
