(Grace's Pov)
I got to school just in time. Wow, I was almost late today. That hasn't happened for a long time. I saw Eva at her desk chewing on a pencil with her eyes full of tears. Is she alright? What happened? Even though it was a bad idea, I decided to pass her a note. Hopefully my teacher doesn't notice.

Is everything all right? I asked. Luckily our desks are really close so I was able to discretely pass it to her.

No. She wrote back.

Do you want to talk to me about it? Maybe lunch? I offered to cheer her up.

Sure. She wrote and passed the note back to me. She gave me a weak smile. Something must be up. I don't think I've ever seen Eva this sad before. Something really bad must've happened.

-----Later-----

I easily found Eva at lunch. She doesn't have the play thing today, so we are able to eat lunch together. She still seems very upset. She quietly was eating. I sat down quietly and got my lunch out.

"So you wanna talk about it?" I quietly asked after being silent for quite a while.

"Yeah I guess. I need to tell someone about this." She said quietly.

"What's wrong? Can I help?" I asked. I am always determined to help my best friend.

"I don't think so," Eva sniffled.

"What is it?" I asked trying not to be pushy.

"Lucy ran away!" Eva burst out crying. I was shocked.

"Oh Eva," I said and hugged her. She cried into my shoulder.

"I'm scared Grace. She's so little," Eva cried.

"I'll find her don't worry," I said. Then I realized something. Was Lucy that little girl in my dream? I tried to remember what she looked like. It was her! Maybe I could've prevented this. I felt terrible the rest of the day.

(A/N: Sad chapter :( I hope you guys still enjoyed it though. How do you think Grace will find Lucy? Wait and seeee! By the way, the next chapter is number 20! I can't believe it! I will make it a really long chapter for you guys if you want. And not like last time when I failed to make a long chapter.)
