(Grace's Pov)
Today has been a long day. School was long and boring (as usual) and it took forever buying my dress. But I finally got it. YAYAYAAY! I am soooo exhausted! I can barely keep my eyes open. I better get to bed....
I fell asleep in a flash. We where at the beginning of the paved road waiting to cross. We checked both sides of the street and dashed across. Since it was my turn with the bike, I rode as fast as I could.
"You'll never catch me!!!" I laughed and turned around and looked at Simon. He started running after me. I rode faster. He ran faster. Then, I pushed as hard ask could on the breaks and came to a stop. Simon however, ran straight past me. As soon as he realized, he slowed down and returned to me. We both laughed. I felt a little bad, so I let him ride the bike for a little while.
Soon, we found a huge rock. It was massive. We climbed on top of it and ate some of our food. We saw people walking by. People with shopping bags, people with dogs and people with strollers with babies in them. It was nice to see all these people. We quickly finished our breakfast. We ate it so fast. We still had plenty of food left for later.
We were very close to where we needed to be. If we had both bikes still, we would probably be there already. Oh well. Simon jumped off the rock. I jumped off as well. I nearly fell over, but Simon had luckily prevented that. He caught me museum time. He let go off me and let me ride the bike once again. We laughed and continued on our journey. We were very close now. I could almost feel my dad already.
(A/N: Short chapter, sorry. It's spring break, so I'm pretty busy. I think this book will be done in a few chapters. Should I start another story after this one? I have a few ideas already but what do you think? Should I start a completely new story, or try and make a sequel to this one??? Let me know! :D)
