Chapter 5

|Shai's pov|

All I have been doing all day is sitting on my trailer couch listening to Nahko's music.

I hear a knock. I get up and open the door only to see Theo. He looks mad.

"Why did you send Ansel over to accuse Ruth of cheating AGAIN?" he storms in. I turn off the music and try to focus on what he just asked.

"I didn't send over Ansel to do anything or to say anything. I have been in here all day mourning! So can you please get out and stop accusing ME?" I yell and curl back up on the couch.

"Who died?" he asks sitting next to me. I can tell he wants to know, but wants to stay mad at me.

"Nahko you fucking idiot!!" I yell and shove him off of the couch. I turn my back and cry into my knees.

"Oh. I'm sorry Shai, but I still don't forgive you for lying to me!" Theo stands up and yells towards my back.

"I didn't lie! I will show you!" I scream back and grab my phone off the counter. I go through my pictures and hand over the screenshot of the Twitter post.

Theo looks in denial and keeps zooming in to see who it is, I assume. I take my phone back and throw it across the room.

"I didn't lie to you. Open your eyes and break up with that slut. Now get out of my trailer! You are making me feel worse! GO!" I scream and push him towards the door. He leaves and tries to look back.

I don't let him. He ruined this whole relationship and most likely the movie process. Asshole.
