Olivia and Luke walked into the store, the air conditioning breezing nicely on them. It was nice and cool, compared to the heat outside.
"Okay, tape? what kind?" Luke asked Olivia. "Uh..i dont know, tape to fix boxes up with?" She shrugged and laughed a little. "Got it" Luke chuckled before turning. "Okay, DIY section..." He mumbled to himself and Olivia followed walking past isles, and people. "Here we are" Luke spoke walking down an isle. Olivia followed down an isle filled with tape, and DIY stuff. "Ooh, memo boards! i could use this for my room" She smiled before turning to Luke.
"Here...tape" he held his arms out and chuckled making Olivia laugh. "Oh, brown tape! this'll do...i hope" She smiled lifting it up. "Six dollars, twenty nine" She sighed. Luke laughed a little and she turned. "What?" She demanded smiling. "Nothing its just....your accent saying dollars" He smirked. "Oh yeah, laugh at the english girl" She laughed. "No im not. Its just...different" He told her. "Yeah, well darn your accent...!" She tried to mock but failed. She turned away giving up. "Ugh, im not going to get used to this currency!" She groaned a little.
Luke smiled at her. "Here, i can get it" He offered. "No! thats fine thanks, i have to learn. I have ten do...ten here, so that'll do" She smiled. "Is it a note?" He asked and she nodded. "Look..." He walked over to beside her pulling out change from his pocket. "Okay, so this here...." He started to tell her the different coins, to a dollar. She watched and listened getting confused. "Ah! Luke...im not going to get it, but i will" She laughed giving up. Luke snatched the tape from her hand and laughed. "Ill get this okay?" He nodded. "No! Luke i'll get it!" She told him.
He held it up, and she narrowed her eyes. "Oh thanks! making fun of my height as well as my accent!" She couldnt help but smile. Luke started laughing as she shook his head. "No, but please...let me" He brought it back down to level. Sighing giving in Olivia shook her head. "Fine! but i'll owe you" She nodded. "You can give me the six dollars in change, how about that?" He smirked. "Okay, deal!" Olivia giggled before following him to the cashier.
They walked into the line and then got served. "Hello, thanks for waiting" A nice pretty lady smiled. "Oh its fine" Olivia nodded at her, and the lady smiled up at her before looking at Luke then back down to scan the tape. "Thats six, twenty nine" She spoke. "Here ya go!" Luke smiled handing her the money. "Thank you" She took it before giving him a single coin change. Olivia watched as Luke took it then the tape in a small bag. "Thank you" He nodded. "Youre welcome!" The lady smiled at Olivia. "Thank you very much" Olivia smiled at her before following Luke out the store.
"Here you are!" Luke smiled handing her the bag. "Thank you" SHe laughed taking it from him as they started to walk along the street. After a few minutes they came to a familiar corner where the large round street was a head. "Well, here we are...oh that house!" Luke looked up the street to her house. "Why does everyone do that?" Olivia shook her head. "All the houses are big in this neighbourhood!" She looked up at Luke. "Yeah, we know but...that house is just...because its at the top, its like bigger" He told her. She shook her head laughing silently. "Well, thanks Luke. I appreicate today, very much. I was right when i said we need more guys like you around" She smiled at him.
He nodded putting his head down and smiling. "Well, i better go..." He said looking back up. "Yeah...oh hey, give me your number. I have Ashton's...and now Calum's. I forgot to get Michael's..." She trailed off handing him her phone. "Okay" Luke smiled. He typed his number in before handing it back to her. She typed something and smiled puttling her phone in ger back pocket. Luke's phone went off and he jumped slightly. "Oh, thats you" He smiled. "Thats me" She giggled. "See you at school" She nodded before walking in her street and waving to him.
