Wednesday. 2pm.
Olivia stuffed books from her locker into her bag, zipping over her bag she threw it over her shoulder and heard someone call her name. She turned to see Brittany walk towards her with two others girls, and three boys. The same people she was with in the store that day, except one guy she didnt really know. "Oh...hi..." She spoke causiously. The 'posse' stopped a few feet away but Brittany walked right up to her. "Hi!" She cheered. "How was your day..."? SHe grinned. "Uh...usual i guess..." Olivia told her. "Yeah, boring i know! Anyway, i was wondering. what are you doing on Friday?" She asked.
Closing over her locker she turned to her. "Um, i dont know" She shrugged. "Well...if your not doing anything...how would you like to come to a party?" She grinned. Oh no. "A party?" She asked. "Yeah a party...its at Noel's place." She smiled and pointed over to the group and at the boy who Olivia didnt fully reconise. "You know...Noel right?" She suddenly asked. "Oh...i actually think he's in my french class" Olivia told her nodding. "Yeah, he's super sweet and so nice....dont you agree?" She asked with a sort of bitch look on her face. As if she was trying to catch Liv out. "Uh, sure...i guess he's an nice guy? i dont know him" SHe shrugged looking at Brittany.
"Yeah well you should! he told me he wouldnt mind helping you out in french if you ever needed it" She smiled. "Oh, well tell him thanks, but no thanks and i think i'll pass on this....party" Olivia nodded as she was about to walk away. "Are you sure?! because the boys are invited. You all can come along...even the girls who hangs...with you" Brit's nose crinkled a little. "Jade?" Liv smiled a little. "Yah, sure...her too" She nodded. "Look im just not a party type..." "Exactly! let loose, live a little. Youve been here what? ... three months nearly and you havent been out properly!" Brittany grinned.
"Brittany, im just not..." "Oh be quiet and come along! we'll be there! the guys...and Noel!" She giggled nudging her. Was she getting at something? "Yeah, i dont know...." "You will ge to know him! Come. Please...? I'll be expecting you there Liv." She raised an eyebrow before smiling and walking off. They all walked past her and Noel turned to her and smiled as he passed. Nodding his head as he done so. Okay, she was confused. What what happened?! She didnt understand. Did she get invited to a party by the 'popular people' or was it a hoax?
She whipped out her phone and dialled Mikey.
"Hellooooo!" He spoke down the phone.
"Where are you?"
"Coming down from the second floor, why?"
"Im meeting you at your locker...i have some news."
"Cool, sure thing buttercup"
Olivia stood across and down from her locker at Mikeys. "Hey, whats up?!" She heard Mikey call out as he walked towards her. "Okay, so ive had the weirdest ten minutes of my life" She told him. "What do you mean?" He chuckled as he put the combo into his locker. "Right, so Brittany...just asked me...or us to a party on friday...and Noels house. Who i didnt even properly know till ten minutes ago...in fact i still dont know him" She made a face. Mikey smiled at her. "Yeah, i know. She asked us earlier." He nodded. "Oh....how?" She asked. "Well, it was before third period...we were in the Libaray and well....she asked." He shrugged.
"Ah right. So, im guessing.... " "You better get your party shoes on" He smirked. "What?! your actually going?" She widened her eyes. "Yeah, we had a chat....and we decided if its okay with all of us...including you then yeah, why not?" He smiled. "Well....no...i dont get on with those people. I never have, they dont like me..." SHe told him. "Ha! how do they not like you?!" He asked closing his locker. "Because they dont! Not even back home, they just dont get on. They slag me off...bug me and call me names" SHe told him. "Okay, have they even done that?" He raised an eyebrow. "No, but... " "But! then its fine. Besides, they havent bugged you once, since you've been at this school Liv, thts a long time for them" He smiled softly.
"Michael i just..." Give it a thought! you'll like it, you'll have us there too. We'll all be there, we'll altogether" He nodded. "Ive never been invited to things like this...how am i..." "You'll be fine. We;ll all be there" He nodded. Olivia sighed shaking her head. "Look, we want you to go...take a chance. What happened to 'New Location, New You?" He smiled. "Come on" He smiled putting an arm around her. "We'll meet the guys outside, the bell goes soon"
