This was a bad idea. It was but when you're calmly seeing red and can't do anything legal to ease your feelings. It was easy to fall into a bad thing. Neal and I walked arm in arm, we had gained access to Dupante's account and now we were going shopping.

"When you said we were going to spend, the hacker out of hiding. I thought you mean fifth avenue, and the big brands that i could care less for.." I comment as our first purchase was helicopters

"No, the first purchase needs to say we're willing to blow all 125 million dollars." Neal replied

"Mozzie wasn't all that pleased when you told him we were conning the vulture" I chuckle

"He has a weakness for notorious outlaws."  And then we provided to go out on the most wild and expensive shopping spree.

-------

"What do you think?" Neal asked taking my waist as I fixed the most blinding necklace on one of the statues we had bought

"There perfect." I smile the turn to wrap my arms around him "i never thought I would say this but, I am spent from shopping."

"Well you better gather your strength because we've still got a lot in our coffers."

"Humm, well I guess I could take a small nap and go for round two. but I have a question. What happens if the vulture does come after us?"

"Well hackers aren't known for the physical prowess. Unlike you."

"That's not a plan, we can talk the talk but we have to think of the next step." I scowled slightly wanting him to really think about it now that we were on this path.

"If the vulture shows up we'll call Peter and he will arrest him." Neal replied

"Oh so you were going to call me eventually." I heard him enter

"oh, busted." I whisper and Neal goes over to an annoyed Peter

"Peter there is a reasonable explanation to all of this." Neal reasoned

"You thought you'd spend the money to draw him out. While using your on leave FBI Agent girlfriend who is vulnerable because she just lost all of her money." I bit my nails

"I'm glad we're on the same page." I wince at Neal's words. Peter then began to rip him a new one and then me but not as much as Neal

-----------

I was packing away the clothes so that they could be returned, when the case was finished.

"Who knew the faux fur industry had come a long way. I think I've felt a small piece of heaven." I comment having changed into a leggings and a oversized t-shirt

"Is it me or does the fact at is Les Paul cost 800 dollars make it sound better?" Neal wondered as I went to sit down at the table across from him.

"We'll have to buy you a cheeper version when this is all over." I chuckle sitting down across from him.

"Once you go gold, you can't go back" he smiles

"Sure, but you have to. It's not in the budge once the money is where it belongs." I reply rising my chin on my hand

"Unless there was another way."

"Meaning?" I question

"These past few days they remind me of the Palazzo Saso. They've been perfect." He replied sitting forward

"You really love that hotel."

"It wasn't just a hotel. It was a time in my life when I had everything I was looking for. freedom, Excitement, comfort, and the right people to share it with."
