Chapter Thirty Six - Rebecca vs Kara for Mozzie

- Kara -

I walked into the office with Thea and everything I would need to keep her here with me. I dropped my things at my desk and made my way into the conference room

"Kara, why are the two of you here?" Neal asked "You should be at home."

"I should be here but I'm not letting her out of my sight so she stays close. Problem?" I put a hand on my hip

"not at all you can use my old office for the time being." Peter offered I nodded and went to set up. Thea was happy in her change of setting as I loaded up for the day.

"Kara somethings wrong with Mozzie, we're gonna go but I will keep you updated okay?" he rushed

"Okay." he gave a quick kiss to the both of us and left with Peter. A little while later Jones knocked on the door.

"I just herd back from Peter. Mozzie." i nod "He's been poisoned by Rebecca Lowe. He's okay for now but apparently he only has a few hours left."  I felt my blood run cold

"You okay?"

"Do they know what it is?" I ask

"No, not a clue, it's a mystery. And I guess they don't have enough time to get blood results." he informed me sitting down

"Let me check all recent NYPD Incident reports for at a Doctors office or a pharmacy since Rebecca's escape. She had to the the toxin from somewhere." I pull up the logs "A few B AND E's, Connivence store in williamsburg. Mugging in midtown. Ah gotcha." I found one

"What?"

"Anwalt Pharmasuiticals." he came around

"Looks like a greenhouse." he commented as I brought up the report.

"A lot of prescription meds start out as poisonous plants." I tell him.

" Robbery happened after the main lab closed."

"Looks like NYPD is on scene which is where..." I looked back at Thea "I can't leave her alone."

"Go, take Diana with you, Thea can come chill with Uncle Clinton." I looked weary

"You're gonna drive yourself mad sitting behind a desk. I have her. i promise." I sigh and relent

"Bottle's in her bag just shake and feed. Nappies to and I suggest you hold your breath they're stinky." I tell him the kneel down in front of my daughter "Mommy's gonna be right back, she just needs to help Mozzie okay." i kiss her head

"Thank you." he nodded and I left "Diana, we've got something. Let's go." she followed me out of the door and we headed for my car

"Kara are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine." I gripped onto the steering wheel tighter "No, Mozzie is a irritating little shit who racks up insults like he's drinking wine. But he's Thea's god father and Neal's friend. She's gone after all of us for a freaking diamond. I wanna shoot the bitch." I admitted

"Mozzie will be fine. He's Mozzie." I laugh slightly

"Yeah he's mozzie." I breath

Diana and I are watching the CCTV footage of Rebecca or Rachel robbing the place

"She's playing us, she knew we'd track her here." Diana stated

"It would take days for us to test all of these and by then it will be too late. She is a psychotic genius. Still have no clue what Neal liked about her."

"Yeah, you've got more on her. Wait look wind it back." They did "See she did something out of frame and came back." Diana pointed out

"Let's take a look." We headed into the greenhouse and we were guised to just beyond the camera shot
