"Gideon, plot a course for 2187."
"Right away, Captain." The same boom sound came into the bridge, and the ship shot off. We came to a stop after a few minutes. "Alright, team, let's go." Sara, Jax, and Stein all got up first, followed by me and John. We got off the ship. "Where to next, Hunter?" I asked. "No idea, Miss Zatara. My best guess would be the House of Mystery. Would you be so kind to teleport us there?"
"Of course. Ekat su ot eht esuoH fo yretsyM," I chanted. "By the way, you'll probably throw up once we land," I warned before we were thrown into one of my portals and coming out to the house. "Tukceb!" I shouted quickly, materializing six buckets and sliding them in front of us before everyone other than me, John, and Sara vomited in the buckets. "Manky," John commented. "Yeah. Welcome to the life of a magician," I responded before they all stood up, wiping the excess off their mouths. "Please remind me to never take your preferred way of transportation again, Miss Zatara. Thank you," Rip said. "Noted. Come on." John opened both doors and walked in, followed by the rest of us. As soon as we were all in the room and the doors was closed, spells and curses came flying towards us. Ah, shit, not again. I threw a shield up around us, blocking the spells out. "ETANIMULLI!" John and I both shouted. Wait. He knows my magic? I mean, it's easy enough to understand what you need to say, but, not a lot of magicians, especially humans can take the strain it causes.
The lights in the House of Mystery came on and illuminated the room, revealing Arcana and the rest of the Justice League Dark. "Sorry, Legends. It's been ten years since we've seen you, and well, we weren't exactly expecting you all to come barging in. It's natural instinct for all of us to attack whoever found the House. You can't exactly blame us," Arcana apologized. "Cana, who are these people? You know them?" A teenage girl asked. "Yeah. Crystal, you don't remember them, but, we did have a run-in with the Legends and our great-grandparents ten years ago. Legends, this is Crystalline Joy, my youngest sibling. She's fifteen now. You guys met her when she was five." I looked at Crystal, and she still had black hair with silvery-white highlights and blue eyes. "And what does Miss Crystalline do?" Rip asked. "Please, it's just Crystal, please, Mr. Hunter. My superhero name is Diamond, and I basically have the same powers as Zatanna, plus the powers I have over anything that's geological from my mom, Gaia. And also, who are you?"
"These are the Legends."
"As in, Waverider Legends?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah," Arcana responded. "And those are my great-grandparents?" She asked again. Arcana responded with the same answer, and John and I both waved. "Oh, my God. You're joking."
"Wish I was. Wait. Where's the..? Where's Valentina and Miyako? Khalid? Nimue?" I asked, seeing that the four of them weren't there. "Valentina... she... passed a few months ago on a mission. After she died, Miya said she couldn't stay with us. Reminded her too much of Val. Doctor Fate said that he was above this team, despite what Khalid had to say. Fate flew out of the House and went around the Nimue went to go and fight her sister, Morgan," she explained, grimly. Well, now we know why they lost the fight with Mortem and Exitium.
"So. It's just you four, Deadman, and Enchantress?" I asked. Arcana confirmed. Oh, Jesus. "Well, I can probably tell that we didn't save the world?"
"Sorry, no." I looked back and saw Magnus and Winter standing there. Well, all four of them grew up very nicely. They all look very nice. "Mag, Winter, Boston, June, Legends, come on. We need to get to the mission. Damien just called."
"You sure it's about a mission?" Winter asked with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, shut it, Win. He doesn't call on the League line for that sort of stuff," Arcana snapped back. "What's up with them?" I muttered to John. "They have been married for about four years now," Magnus explained. Arcana created the doorway to the room and answered the incoming call from Batman. "Hello, darling," Damian greeted. "Damian," she responded. "Oh. I see the Legends are here with you. It's been what, ten years?"
