I drive without looking back. Even though I don't have my drivers license I managed to drive fairly well.
I get to Jamal's house and I see Toby's car parked on the side of the road. I grab the gun from the passenger seat and cautiously walk over across the street to Toby's car.
The car is fairly empty.
Stacy's body isn't there.
I walk towards the house and see that the door is already unlocked which means that Toby must already be inside.
I slowly open the door and enter the house with the gun loaded and ready to fire at any given moment. I hear voices talking and they get louder and louder the closer I get to the living room.
"Why do you want to kill me??? I didn't even really know Stephanie." I hear Jamal say.
"Like I said earlier this isn't about Stephanie. And I didn't say I was going to kill you." Toby says in return.
"Well then why do you have a gun in your?" Jamal asks.
"Because, now would you just tell me if Lily is with you or not." Toby questions, getting a bit frustrated.
"Well, you're her ex, you have a gun, that's kinda giving me psycho ex vibes so, I'm not gonna tell you anything. And if you Shoot me that's on you." Jamal answers.
"I'm not going to hurt her. I was just told that she was here and I would like to talk to her that's all." Toby explains.
"Well here I am." I say turning the corner into the living room putting the gun into my back pocket. "Did Ronnie ask for you to find me?"
Toby hesitates for a moment.
"No I just wanted to talk to you."
"Okay." I say looking at Jamal as I turn to leave the house.
Toby and I walk out of the house and across the street over to his car and we both get in.
"So, now that Jamal isn't a witness you can tell me the truth. You've always been a terrible liar."
"Just give Ronnie the phone I don't see what's such a big deal about it anyways." Toby impatiently says.
"Well, I did find messages between you and Stephanie and then I heard that you knocked her unconscious. Care to explain?" I say.
Toby sighs.
"I don't know how she got my number and I even tried blocking her a couple of times but nothing worked. She was fucking crazy and I finally had enough of her bullshit and her saying all sorts of things about you. So, I went over to her house to tell her that I had enough. But, I didn't really say anything. I just punched her. In the face. She hit the ground and went unconscious and there was lot of blood and I didn't know what to do. Ronnie showed up a few seconds later after it happened and he helped me take care of her body. We didn't speak of it again until the police found her body. People started talking and he didn't like it. Then he told me that I needed to help him get rid of George because he started to piece things together and then Riley because she didn't fulfill her purpose then Stacy because she found Riley and was going to tell the police about it and then when he asked me to get rid of you....I was hesitant because I...I care about you and don't want anything to happen to you especially if I was the one that caused it. He said that if I didn't help him then he would tell the police that I killed Stephanie."
I finally got all the puzzle pieces together and finally realize what happened.
"You were pissed at Stephanie because she was trying to use you and get back at me then, you punched her and when you saw the blood and thought you killed her. Ronnie knew you didn't kill her because he saw that she was breathing so he made you think you killed her to blackmail you into helping him kill her. Ronnie then blackmailed you to help him kill George because George was friends with Ronnie and Stephanie cheated on Ronnie with George so he wanted to get revenge. Then Riley got a call from Ronnie saying that he would hurt Marcus if Riley didn't find Stephanie's phone which had all of Ronnie's threats on it and because Riley had feelings for Marcus she was easy to manipulate. Riley ran from the crime scene where George's body was to stop Ronnie from harming Marcus and then she was killed by you because she knew too much and she failed to help Ronnie. Stacy found Riley's body and threatened to tell the police so you got rid of her as well. While that was happening, Ronnie was plotting to kill me while he accompanied me to help you, Jamal, and Stacy. He was going to frame me for his crimes cause he's and asshole and knew that if Kamrin thought I was the killer than he would get to still be with her and I would be a wanted criminal. Wanted for a crime I didn't commit. But I shot up in the air to warn the others who were back at Ronnie's house and I managed to escape. Ronnie tells you what happened and tells you to kill me. But, you didn't want to hurt me so you were going to find me and then double cross Ronnie, that's why you were at Jamal's because Ronnie told I would be there." I conclude.
Toby starts the car and starts driving to Ronnie's house.
"So, your telling me that fucking asshole blackmailed me, lied to me too, and made me believe I was a murderer?!?" Toby realizes.
"Yeah, and if he wasn't there Stephanie and the others would still be alive and we wouldn't be caught up in this mess in the first place." I explain. "We need to tell the others. I know he won't hurt Kamrin. He cares about her too much but he might hurt Donna and Marcus."
"Well, we should probably go get Mason then before Ronnie gets to him." Toby replies.
"And don't worry about the police, I'll make sure that Ronnie gets what he deserves and that you'll be able to walk away from this whole thing." I say as I look at Toby.
He looks back at me takes my hand with relief.
Toby drives to Mason's house and pulls into the driveway. He busts open the door and looks around to see if Mason's there. I get out of the car to help search but Toby comes back to the front entrance.
"Mason's not here."
