Toby and I go back to the car and I call Kamrin to see if she knows where Mason might be and if she and the others are alright.
"Hey, is everything alright? We heard gunshots earlier and Ronnie said that it was nothing." Kamrin questions. "What really happened Lily?"
"I'll explain it when I see you. Are you still at Ronnie's?" I ask.
"No, Marcus and I went to Mason's house and got him." Kamrin answers. "Ronnie said you were getting Jamal and said we should get Mason."
"Okay good, don't go back to Ronnie's see if you can go back to Mason's or go to Marcus' just don't go back to Ronnie's house." I say sternly.
"Okay? Why can't we go back?" Kamrin asks curiously.
"Just trust me okay?" I replied.
"Okay." Kamrin says in return.
I end the call and look down at the gun on the floor of Toby's car.
"Do you think we should give this to the police?" I ask.
"Once this is all over you can do whatever you want with it but for now, you might need it. Just in case." Toby replies as I take his hand in mine.
The car ride is filled with ominous silence as the car gets closer and closer to Ronnie's house where Donna is and the murderer. I see a car on the side of the road that looks like Kamrin's.
"Pull over for a sec." I tell Toby.
Toby parks the car on the side of the road and we get out and walk over to the other car. Kamrin, Marcus, and Mason are all sitting in the car. I knocked on the window and Kamrin jumps back a bit.
"Oh hey, I'm glad you're okay." Kamrin says as she gets out of the car. "What happened back at Ronnie's house?"
"Everything was fine at first. We were talking about what we were going to do when we found the killer and then he revealed that...it was him. He had enough of Steph's bullshit and was going to go to her house one night to get back at her and, when he got there...Toby was already there."
Kamrin's eyes widened.
"Toby went to Steph's house moments before Ronnie got there and he punched Steph because she was trying to get him to dump me and she wouldn't leave him alone. When he punched Stephanie she hit the floor, hit her head and she started bleeding. Toby thought he killed her because of the blood and then Ronnie walked in, saw what happened and saw that Toby had only knocked her out because she was still breathing. So, Ronnie helped Toby clean the mess and Ronnie...buried Steph alive in the woods."
Kamrin looks like she's going to be sick. Her expression turns from a sickened one to a furious one in seconds. She walks towards Toby and shoves him back.
"Did you help kill the other too??? We're you going to kill Lily along with them??? How the hell could you do that??? You fucking asshole!!!" Kamrin furiously says as she keeps pushing him further away. "I knew I should have gone with Lily but instead she almost got murdered by your psychotic, murderous, no good, loser ass and I wasn't there to help her!"
Kamrin goes to walk away from him and she walks back to her car. She grabs my baseball bat out of the car and walks back towards Toby. Marcus comes from behind Kamrin and grabs her arm before she can hit Toby over the head.
"Kamrin don't, he's not worth it." Marcus says.
Kamrin lowers the baseball bat and Marcus let's go of her arm.
"It's not his fault he did the things he did. It's Ronnie's because he blackmailed Toby and made him believe he was a murderer when he wasn't. Ronnie is the one who killed Stephanie. He's the one who got us into this mess in the first place. So, if you want to blame someone then blame him." I explain.
Kamrin stares down at the ground for a moment and Marcus takes her hand. Kamrin looks up at Marcus and then back at me.
"We should go back to Ronnie's before he does anything to Donna." Kamrin says.
Everyone agrees and we go into our cars and drive to Ronnie's house one last time.
