Chapter 39: Pure Witches Part 2

   The car stopped in a port, thirty minutes later. There were few boats docked in there. My eyes searched for Lily.

"Why are we here?" I asked her while getting out. Henry followed after me and immediately held my hand.

"See that boat?" She said while pointing the white and blue colored boat. I nodded. "That will take us to the land of pure witches." Lily called someone from the boat. I turned around to talk to Henry. I wanted to talk to him about us.

"What are we gonna say if they ask about our relationship?"

Henry pulled me into a bear hug. "The truth about me and you." He kissed my forehead.

"We can't do that," I whispered, and closed my eyes.

"Let me handle this, Maib. I don't want to deny our relationship. Not now and in this land. Iberron is here. You can't just hide what we have."

He breathe out a rough sigh. "I thought we're through about this." He tightened his hug. "Don't be so hard about us, my love. I am already anxious. If something happened out there, do not let them take you. I'll do my best to cover up your escape."

My eyes instantly fired open. My escape!

"So you tell me now that you have plan to cover my escape. I won't let you do that!" I pushed him hard but he was like a wall.

"Well, if you really insist I will escape with you. Do you think we shall call my grandfather now? Hes just waiting for my call." He said lowly, caressing my jawline.

"There is no need for that. We came here to talk to Lisa and not for war."

Lily must overheard me because she look at me and said,"We are going into a war, cousin. By the time we reached the island, expect the worse from Iberron." She is serious and her eyes flickered. Henry released me from his arms but held my hand.

"War?" I questioned her. This isn't what I expected.

"Yes, war! The first portal is in the land of the pure witches." Her phone suddenly blurted into a song.

"Oh! Mama must be so excited right now,"she muttered before taking the gadget out from her jeans. Henry tensed beside me.Lisa's vision is flashing in my brain. I, severely wounded and Henry, being killed. My knees started to wobble. I gripped his hand and inhaled the clean air then exhaled simultaneously.

"We have to go!" Lily gave us a short firm look. And ordered the crew to start the engine, in a native dialect. We boarded in the not so big boat. It started moving away from the port.

Henry grabbed snickers inside his carry bag. When I saw the chocolate, my stomach groaned.

He gave one to me and I smiled thank you.

"I'm gonna call my grandfather. Talk to Lily. I know you have questions in your mind." He kissed my cheek before vacating his seat. I felt cold suddenly. But then, I need to talk to Lily who is standing beside the driver. I waved my hand to get her attention. I'm glad she's my cousin.

"The ocean is calm today." She sat beside me.

"Yes."I smiled at her. "Is Lisa your mother?" I asked with a loud voice, almost shouting. The boat engine is a bit noisy.

"Nah...she's Rocky's mom. My mom is Laila and my father is Karlo." She replied, shouting too.

"Do you knew Lisa's vision about me?" Lily eyes glued at me and her bright face turned to gloomy.

"When I heard that you're coming, I was mad at you," she started. I was taken aback by what she had just said.

"Don't get me wrong. I like you, cousin. I don't hate you because I have to leave school because of you. I got mad because you decided to come here and within days you're gonna fullfill that vision. Why are you eager to see auntie Lisa?" Her eyes linger on mine, chocolate eyes to chocolate eyes.

"Henry believed that I don't need vampire blood if he'll just talk to Lisa." I left Lily's lingering eyes and gazed at the man I love. I heard Lily hissed.

"You need pure vampire blood, Anna Marie. Believed me."

"He does not like the idea that's why we are here." I lowered my voice. But Lily suddenly started her ranting in a very loud voice.

"He does not know what that blood can do. We may have gifts but healing isn't one of them. Auntie Lisa saw you died, Anna Marie. She even felt what you've felt in that vision. Seeing her almost died made us scared!"

I put my hand on Lily's mouth that instant. "Shhh! He has sensitive hearing." I warned her. I did not tell Henry that I died too, in Lisa's vision. It is something that he must not know.

"Elizabeth must found the blood,"she whispered, leaning on my side.

"She already found the blood. And the source is with her as of this moment," I whispered back. Lily's face brightened. Truly I am thankful too that this royal vampire is willing to give his blood. But what is bothering is-why is he eager to see me?

"You mean, the vampire itself is coming here together with Elizabeth?" Lily is freaking the hell out of herself. She must be afraid of bloodsuckers! Well, let's say I am not afraid, just bothered.

"Yes Lily," I confirmed. "He is eager to see me." I told her.

"That's why he'll come,"she whispered, more like to herself because of her facial expression, blank and nervous.

  I diverted my gaze to Henry. He is serious talking to her grandfather. His one hand is on his waist. Then suddenly he brushed his fingers on his hair. I can't help myself but to admire him. He looked devastatingly handsome. The wind is messing up with his hair.

"Oh shit! Romualdo!" Lily screamed and ran to the driver. I turned around and ran to Henry when I saw a giant wave approximately five meters away behind the boat.

"Holy shit!" Henry pulled me closer and I took off my ring.

"Keep these again. Stay here Henry. I have to do something before we drowned here." I did not wait for his response. I ran to where Lily is.

"Let me handle this," I said. This is easy. I can blow the wave through air. But Lily put her small hand on my shoulder to stop me.

"Don't waste your energy, cousin." She winked at me. Then, move  to the side of the boat, get down and dip her index finger in the saltwater. I curiously watch her. I smiled when something move in the water going to the wave. The force was like a weapon, a bomb. As the force hit the giant wave, it dispersed like mists. W-o-w! Lily, my inconsiderate cousin, is water element witch!

"That was awesome!" I exclaimed. Lily get up and shouted,"Brace yourselves! Here comes the splash!" And right after she said that, the splash came through. The boat slightly trembled and we were soaked wet as the sea calmed again.

"Not bad, Lily!" Henry shouted. Lily and I turned to face him. And I'm sorry my dear Henry but I can't help it. I blurted into a melodic laughters. Oh my! He's so cute while on his sitting position, with dripping water on his face. Lily mimicked my laughters. And we stopped when he get up while giving us deadly glares. My cousin pretended talking to the driver and I returned to my sit. Henry sat beside me. And slid the bands on my finger again.

"You looked like-"

Henry growled, that stopped me from teasing him. I ended up staring at him. And his eyes locked with mine. It was broken when I felt Lily's presence as she poked my arm.

"Welcome to the land of the pure witches!" Lily announced. Henry and I both stood as we saw the alligator shaped island. It was green and as we are getting closer, different kind of trees welcomed us.
