(Y/N) POV

"I'm so glad that we've finally found our new parents. We are now one big happy family!"

'He is happy. They are happy. Everyone is happy. But am I happy too?' I asked myself.

'I am not saying that I am NOT happy for them. It just that... oh I do not know. Jim and Luka finally found a new family, a new home. So that means... it means that... they are leaving. And I-'

"Mother, Father, I would like to request something," Jim suddenly spoke, interrupting my train of thought.

"Go ahead, son," Uncle George said.

"May the three of us have a slumber party at our room?" Jim asked. "It is our last night in the manor, and I would like the three of us to do something special, just for the occasion."

"A slumber party? What is that?" Luka asked. "I have never heard of it."

"Well, it is something that I just made up," Jim replied. "Slumber because we are going to sleep, and party because we can have fun together before going to sleep. Put them together and there you have it – slumber party!"

"Oh, so you would like me to stay in your room tonight, and have some fun together before going to bed?" I asked.

"Exactly!" Jim exclaimed. "This is going to be the best night ever with my two best friends!" Jim smiled.

"Mother, Father, may we have a slumber party, please? Pretty please?" Luka pleaded with adorable puppy eyes.

Uncle George and Auntie Margaret looked at each other and nodded. "Alright, you can have your slumber party tonight," Auntie Margaret replied.

"Hooray!" cheered Jim and Luka.

"Mother, Father, I would like to participate in this slumber party, please? May I?" I asked my parents.

"Of course, sweetheart," Father replied.

"Yaaay!!!" I exclaimed.

"Come on, (Y/N)! Don't forget to bring more pillows!" Jim reminded.

"Yes, I shall certainly not." Nanny Isabelle helped me gather some fluffy pillows and a big blanket. Then, we brought them over to Jim and Luka's bedroom.

"Thank you Nanny," I said.

"You're welcome. Just ring the bell if you need anything, alright?" Nanny Isabelle asked.

"Yes, Nanny," we all said in unison.

When Nanny Isabelle left the room, Jim looked at me and Luka. "Are you ready to have an awesome night?" He asked.

"Yes we are!" We cheerfully replied.

"So, what shall we do first?" I asked.

Luka tapped his chin, probably thinking of a good way to start our slumber party. "Oh I know! Let's build something out of these blankets and pillows!"

"Good idea, Luka," Jim said. "We can make a small house or maybe a tent."

"A fort made of pillows! We can build a pillow fort!"

We spent a few minutes trying to figure out what to do with all of these blankets and pillows. Eventually, the three of us agreed to make a pillow fort.

After some time, we managed to build our very own pillow fort. It was large enough for the three of us to fit in. It felt comfortable and cozy inside.

"So soft~ I never want to leave this place," said Luka.

'Leave... oh that is right.' We were having so much fun that I almost forgot the fact that they will leave tomorrow.

"(Y/N), are you alright?" Jim asked.

"What's wrong, (Y/N)? I thought we were all having fun right now. Why do you look sad?" Luka asked.

"It's nothing. Do not worry about it," I said as I tried to fake a smile.

"(Y/N), I know when you are not telling the truth. I am your best friend. You know that I don't like it when people lie, right?" Jim asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Now please, tell me what is going on. What's bothering you?" Jim asked as he held my right hand, which made my heart beat a little bit faster.

"We are your best friends, (Y/N). You can tell us anything," Luka said as he also held my other hand.

I took a deep breath and told them the truth. "To be honest, I am saddened by the fact that the two of you will be leaving the manor soon. Do not get me wrong, I am truly happy for the both of you, but-... it's just that-... I-"

"You will miss us?" Jim finished the sentence for me.

"Yes, I will miss the two of you," I said truthfully.

"(Y/N), we will miss you too," Luka said as he came closer to give me a hug. Then, I heard... sobbing?

"Luka, why are you crying?" I asked.

"B-because I am going *sniff* to miss you so *hiccup* much. We will not see *sniff* each other *sob* everyday anymore," Luka said in between sobs.

"(Y/N)..." Jim also started to cry. He went closer and hugged me as well. "I do not *sob* want to leave you."

"Jim, Luka... *sniff*. Stop crying," I said as tears were streaming down my face. "You are making *sob* me cry *hiccup* too. Promise to visit me *sniff* often, okay?"

"Promise," Jim and Luka replied. We were a crying mess for about five to seven minutes. After that, we broke the hug and grabbed a handkerchief or two to wipe our tears (and some snot) away.

"Alright, everyone! Enough crying," I said as I stood up. "The night is still young. We should not let a few tears ruin the night for us!"

"Uh (Y/N), I do not think that it was just a few tears," Luka said.

"Eh, whatever," I shrugged.

"(Y/N) is right!" Jim exclaimed. We should not let this get in the way of the best night ever!"

"Yes! Let the fun continue!"

Note: Slumber parties and sleepovers weren't that common/popular until the later half of the 1900s. Because the story is situated in the late 1800s, I wrote the slumber party as Alois' idea so that it won't go against the timeline.
