The Magnificent Seven (3)
Kylie's POV
"What time is it?" Bobby yawned loudly making Dean and I shoot a look at the older man.
"Seven past midnight." I answered, rubbing the back of my neck, trying to ease the knots from sitting in the backseat all night.
"You sure this is the right place?"
"No." Dean admitted, side glancing at Bobby. "But I spent all day canvassing this stupid town with this guy's stupid mug, and supposedly, he drinks at this . . . stupid bar."
Clearly he wasn't bitter about the situation.
The loud pounding on the window caused the three of us to jump, making Sam grin as he slipped in the back seat next to me.
"That's not funny!" I shot at the younger Winchester who continued to grin.
"Yeah." He looked down in his lap smiling. "So John Doe's name is Walter Rosen. He's from Oak Park, just west of Chicago. Went missing about a week ago."
"The nigh the Devil's Gate opened?" I asked.
"Yeah." Sam confirmed grimly.
"So you think he's possessed?" Dean questioned, shifting in his seat. The leather squeaking beneath him.
"Well, it's a good bet."
"So, what, he just walks up to someone, touches them, and they go stark raving psycho?" I asked, my brows furrowed.
"Those demons that got out at the gate - they're gonna do all kinds of things we haven't seen." Bobby pointed out.
"You mean the demons we let out?" I sighed.
Dean frowned while Sam placed a comforting hand on my shoulder, squeezing it.
"Guys." Bobby called, turning our attention to the same man from the security footage, heading into the bar.
"All right." Dean rubbed his hands together. "Showtime."
"Wait a minute." Bobby halted Dean's excitement.
"What?" Dean whined.
"What'd I just say?" Bobby snapped. "We don't know what to expect out of this guy. We should tail him till we know for sure."
"Oh, so he kills someone and we just sit here with our junk in out hands?" Dean scoffed.
"We're not good dead!" Bobby raised his voice. "And we're not gonna make a move until we know what the score is."
"Hey, Bobby?" Sam said gently. "I don't think that's an option."
"Why not?" He turned his head quickly in our direction.
I followed Sam's gaze watching as Isaac and Tamara walked in the demon filled car.
"Oh son of a bitch." I sighed in defeat, annoyed at the independently dumb couple.
"Damn it!" Bobby let out even more annoyed.
"What the hell do we do now?" I ran my fingers through my hair.
"Sam and Kylie, take the back. Dean and I will try to bust through the front." Bobby instructed.
We hopped out of the car, weapons in hands as we split up into teams. Sam and I taking the back.
Using our shoulders, we slammed ourselves against the wooden door, but it was clear there was something heavy pressed against it.
After many tries, and sore shoulders, we made our way back around the front where Bobby and Dean were having the same issue.
