Avery's pov

I woke up with the worst headache I've ever had.
When I opened my eyes I was blinded by strong white lights.

I looked around me slowly moving my head, every movement hurt.
I realized I was in a hospital.
I couldn't remember how I got there.

"Angel you are awake!"
I heard Chloe's voice and felt her hugging me.
She sounded like she's been crying.

"Chloe? What's wrong? What are we doing here?" I asked confused.
'Why is she sad?'

"Umm.. Angel What's the last thing you remember?"
She stopped hugging me and took one of my hands in hers,
but for some reason she didn't look at me.

"I- I don't know.. I remember feeling bad and I think.. Dana kissed me? No. I don't know" I mumbled.

"She kissed you?" Now she looked at me, I could see rage in her eyes.

"I'm not sure.. I think she did? Because I remember getting away from her but.. why is it so hard to remember? What happened? Please just tell me" I begged.
She breathed in deeply.

"Angel you were drugged.. they found drugs in your system."
She couldn't look at me when she said it. I felt my heart pounding strongly in my chest.

"Was.. w-was I ? R- raped-?"

"No. They looked for signs, you weren't raped."

I couldn't be extremely relieved, by the way she looked at me, it seemed like there was more to it.

"But listen.. the way I found you.. you were without your top o-"

"No" I stopped her. I couldn't listen to it. I couldn't.

"Avery it doesn't mean anything but ma-"

"NO! STOP! STOP TALKING JUST STOP!" I couldn't control my emotions, right after I screamed at her I started crying.
She hugged me again.

"Shh.. it's ok.. I'm sorry.. I'm here.. it's ok.. I will stop.."
She tried to calm me down, but I could hear her voice shaking.. she was crying too.

"We don't have to talk about it now ok? Rest" She tried to sound more stable.

She came to lay next to me in bed.
I put my head on her chest as she caressed my hair.
I slowly calmed to the sounds of her steady heart bits, until I fell asleep.

When I woke up Chloe was still sleeping .
I felt horrible.

'I have to be brave I have to know what happened '

I kept thinking it over and over in my head, that I have to know, no matter how hard it could be.

"Chloe?" I woke her up.

"What? Are you okay?" She got up scared, I felt bad for her.
But I had to dive in, I had to know.

"I'm.. ok.. tell me everything you know."

"Are you sure?"
She turned to face me, we were both still laying.
She wiped my tears with her hand,
I didn't even notice I was crying.

"Yes" no..

She took a deep breath.
"Since Dana called me and told me she couldn't find you,
I searched for you but I couldn't find you anywhere.
At some point I sat outside of Blackwell, just, in case you somehow showed up there. and you did...
Nathen carried you..
and you were without your top on.. I'm sorry.
I took you away from him, he ran away. That fucking asshole.."
She said angrily.

Nathen..

"Can I touch her?"

I could hear his voice saying it in my head
I had trouble breathing.

Who was he talking to?

"Babe! Breath!"

He took my shirt off,
he tied my hands and legs.
I remembered the feeling of his hands on me.

"Angel BREATH! Please!"

I remembered the sound of a car door closing.
His hands traveled my legs.

"I need a doctor! She's not breathing!"

He lifted my skirt.

"Just looking wouldn't hurt, he doesn't need to know" click sound.

Everything turned black.
