Awkward

Avery's POV:

"Good to know" She winked at me.
I felt drowned to her,
her confidence was so alluring.
She smelled so good..
Yeah she smelled like cigarettes ( which I find sexy )
Nut.. She smelled like home too.

"So angel.. Your hella cool powers.. where'd you get them from?"
She asked smirking,
she started playing with a lock of my hair, god it felt so good.
I blushed again.

"I have no idea" I really didn't know.

"You're hella cute when you blush" she said smirking,
She put her hand on my burning cheek, and looked deep in to my eyes . My heart was beating so fast.

My phone rang, and it destroyed that beautiful moment.
I got up to answer,
I put my phone on speaker, it was a habit.

"Cody!" I answered exited.

"Just wanted to let you know I'm coming to Arcadia Bay"
Now I got really exited.

"To visit?" I smiled.

"To live, I wanna be close to you.
And I got a job there Ave."

"No fuckiging way!!!!!!" I yelled and jumped up and down like a little girl.
I was so exited.

"I have to go Ave, I'll see you when I get there? Tomorrow night?" He asked.

"You bet!" I yelled, I couldn't control my excitement.

"Love you Ave"

"I love you too!" he hung up and then I looked at chloe, she looked at me pissed.

"I thought you said you didn't have a boyfriend?" She raised one eye brow with a serious face.

"That was my cousin,
he's the only family I have left. I can't believe he's coming!!"
I ran to her bed and started jumping on it, laughing like a crazy person.

"Hella cute" she said smiling again, and laughed with me.

We spent the rest of our day together talking about music and movies and, just about life.
It was so much fun,
like she said to me before,
it really did feel like we've known each other for years.
At 7 She drove Blackwell and then walked me to my dorm.

"I had so much fun today" I told her and smiled brightly.
I looked up to her, she was so tall, and tall was my weakness.

"Me too angel, we should do it again." she smirked.

We got to my dorm room door.
"Tomorrow?" I asked eagerly,
I couldn't control myself. She laughed.

"Why are you so damm cute?! I'll call you later about what time and where, don't miss me too much" She winked at me, and left.

I just stood there for a few seconds, smiling to myself like an idiot.
I wished she stayed, but she didn't want to see Max.

I entered my room and changed my clothes, I still had time till 8.
So I did what I always do whenever I have time to spare, I played my organ, and sang. Singing and writing were the 2 things I loved doing the most.

I got to blackwell to learn creative writing, they had no music or singing classes..
Photography wasn't my thing,
but I had to choose more classes, and I totally preferred that over biology or something like that.

I heard a knock on the door.
I stopped singing fast,
embarrassed by the fact that Max probably heard me.
I opend my door and saw her standing there with tons of snacks in her hands.

"You're voice is so beautiful!"
She Said, and I blushed nervously, I never sang in front of people.

She walked into my room, and put the snacks on the bed.

"Thanks Max. Wow that's a lot of snacks" I giggled.

"I can't watch a movie without snacks" she smiled.

"Yeah I get it. Me too."

We watched a movie in my laptop and talked a little, it was nice.
When the movie ended I decided to talk to her about Chloe.

"Listen max.. I ran into that friend you told me about. Chloe"
She looked at me nervous.

"How did you know it was her?"
She asked.

"I didn't I just invited her to our movie night and she knew who you were and.. Can I suggest something? I don't wanna be rude but.."

"Sure" she said, waiting for me to speak.

"Maybe you should call her? I really think she misses you, even if she doesn't admit it." I asked and waited for her respond, she was quiet for a few seconds.

"I don't know.. I don't know if I want to deal with her being mad at me and all.. I have to focus on school and photography anyway.. Wanna watch another movie?" She asked, she changed the subject..

'Ok.. I think maybe Chloe is better off without her.' I thought

"Um yea, sure.." I said.

The rest of our night was awkward.
She tried to chat a few times but I just responded with a yes or a no,
I felt a little mad at her for not wanting to call Chloe.

When she finally left I felt relieved.
I started at my phone for a while, waiting for Chloe to call me.
I felt so pathetic.

When she finally called me my heart skipped a bit.

"Chloe!" I answered, I sounded way too exited. I heard her giggle.

"Hi Angel, how was movie night?" She asked, she sounded kind of.. annoyed?

"Um well.. it was..um.. Ok. It was ok"
I was a really bad liar, I didn't want to tell her what Max said, I didn't want to hurt her, but I didn't know what else to say.

"That bad ha?" She sounded like she was smiling.

"Yeah I guess.." I admitted.

"Forget about it, let's talk about tomorrow.
Wanna do a sleepover at my place after you meet that cousin of yours?"
I felt butterflies in my stomach, I was so excited.

"Yesss!" I sounded too happy 'I have to learn how to control it' I thought.
She laughed.

"It'll be hella fun! See you then angel"
I just loved it when she called me angel..

"See you than" i said, and she hung up.
I smiled to myself, already planning what to wear.
