Crushing hard

Avery's POV:

The next day I woke up so exited,
I just couldn't stop smiling.
I put on a white short dress with long sleeves, That dress was simple but yet pretty, I even decided to put on a little make up- Mascara and pink lip gloss, I normally never wore any makeup, but that day I did, just because I knew I'll meet Chloe later, I wanted to look good for her.
I knew at the moment that thought crossed my mind, that I was definitely developing a crush on her, damm, How could I not? Her confidence, her blue hair, her smirks, her laughter, her edginess, everything about her drew me to her.
I couldn't wait to see her again.
I couldn't concentrate at any class I had that day,
Those damm butterflies didn't leave me alone for a second, and I just kept smiling to myself from time to time, I bet I looked crazy.

Evening finally arrived and I knocked on the door of Cody's new place, it was only 10 minutes of walk from Blackwell. The second he opened the door I lunched my self at him, I hugged him for a long time and didn't let go. I was so happy to finally see him after all those years. He giggled and hugged me back
"I missed you so much Ave" He said with a smile, when I finally let go of him.
"Me too!" I answered, smiling back.
For the last few years we only talked through texts or phone calls.
Cody was 4 years older than me.
Just like me, he was alone in the world, his parents abandoned him, and he too, didn't have a stable home growing up.
We were all we both had.
"So? What job did you get?" I set on one of the boxes that layed in his apartment, apparently he didn't unpack yet.
"Let's just say you better not do something illegal around me" He winked at me, he seemed proud of himself.
"No way! You're a cop??" It was his dream job, I was so exited for him.
"Yes" he smiled brightly and sat on another box besides me.
"Look Ave I.. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me.. I should have taken care of you.. I'm sorry." He said as he's smile slowly left his face. His brown eyes filled with tears, which he quickly wiped.
"Don't Cody.. It's not your fault. There was nothing you could do" I said calmly, taking his hand in mine.
We talked for about 2 hours, catching up.
"I have to go now Code, have fun unpacking" I smiled.
"Need a ride?" He asked, already picking up his keys.
"I'd love a ride thank you! I'm actually going to meet a friend.. It's like a 10 minutes drive from here. Is that ok?"
I asked
"Sure Ave, come on let's go."
All the way to Chloe's place I couldn't stop smiling, I was so excited I just couldn't help it.
Cody seemed to notice.
But he didn't say anything, he just smiled. I honestly think he was just happy to see me happy, and didn't care why as long as I had a smile on my face.
"I'll call you tomorrow, thanks for the ride!" I kissed his cheek and hopped off his car.

I was so nervous, I wasn't sure if I should call her and let her know I'm here or knock on the door.. I just stood there like an idiot in front of her house while making up my mind.
I finally decided to text her, I felt too nervous to call or knock on that front door.
'Avery: I'm here'
'Chloe: Here?'
'Avery: Infront of your house..'
'Chloe: Ur so shy.It's adorable. Want me to come out?'
'Avery: Yes please! Tnx'
'Chloe: Np'
I waited nervously for about a minute outside. Finally When I saw Chloe coming out the door, I felt my heart skip a bit.

Chloe's POV:
I walked towards her smirking. She just stood there smiling lightly, she looked so fucking beautiful in that white dress she wore.
"White looks good on you angel" I said and winked at her, She smiled and blushed immediately, I loved the effect I had on her, it made me think that maybe she was crushing on me too.
"Thank you" She looked up at my eyes with her big beautiful golden eyes.
"Let's go inside" I held her hand in mine and puled her inside. Her hand felt small in mine.
"Chloe where..Ho hey there, I'm Joyce" Joyce noticed the angel besides me as we walked in.
"Avery. It's nice to meet you, you have a lovely home"
Avery said in her angelic voice, smiling. Damm she was polite, it was cute.
"Well thank you young lady, it's realy nice to meet you too" Joyce smiled, she seemed pleased by their brief exchange of word. I hoped she wasn't expecting me to behave like this angel besides me. I felt amused by the thought.
"Ok enough chitchat. Let's go to my room"
"Have fun" Joyce told us as I guided Avery to my room, which I actually cleaned for her, something I never did for anyone else before.
"Want a drink angel?" I asked as I closed the door behind us, I opened the closet and showed her my stash of alcohol.
"Sure" she smiled, and sat on my bed.
I picked the vodka bottle and two shot glasses and came to sit next to her.
"Let's play a drinking game" She said, sounding kind of exited.
I filled our shot glasses with vodka and handed her one of them.
"Ok, but I'll definitely win" I smirked.
"We'll see" she smirked back at me, she was so damm beautiful.
"Let's play never have I ever, know the rules?" I asked. She nodded exited.
"Ok so I go first.. Never have I ever... had a boyfriend" I smirked, knowing she had.
"Playing dirty Price" She said and giggled, and took the shot, she made a cute face, unsatisfied with the taste.
"Ok that's just gross" She chuckled.
I filled her shot glass again.
"You'll have to suffer many of those angel, your going downn" I giggled.
"My turn Price." She said with fire in her golden eyes, her orangish spirals seemed like they're glowing.
"Never have I ever had sex" She said and blushed. I looked at her eyes, kind of shocked, Thinking how I want to be her first. I drank my shot while not taking my eyes off of hers.
"I might beat you after all" She said to me with a big smile spreading on her face.
"In your dreams angel" I smiled back at her, thinking this was going to be a really fun night.
