“I'll just take a shower, arasseo?”

I nodded while watching some movies. It's been another day, the day hasn't gone bad. It's just the usual.

He'll call me Steven, he will started seeing things that I don't. That's the usual for me. The events that I always encounter each day in my life.

He never get better, it has worsen each day. The more he hallucinates, the more pained and weary I am. Though I always felt that things, I won't give up.

It's been thirty minutes, and he hasn't come back yet. Feeling worried, I run to the staircase, before getting inside the shower. I could hear the water's splashing noises. The door was even locked.

“Sean! Are you okay there?” I gently knock the door but he didn't replied. I started panicking.

“Sean, damn it! Please open the door!”

This time I hardly knock on the door, using my full strength, but no one was answering on the other side. I heard no reply. At that time, I am close to losing it.

The sound of the splashing water never stopped, and no one was answering.

My eyes were already bloodshot, I tried diverting my thoughts away from negativity, but I was already immersing to the fact that I might lose him right now if I won't be able to open this goddamn door.

I started shaking before gathering my strength to kick the door. I took steps backward, before kicking the door with full force.

It successfully opened. I rush inside and saw him drowning on the bathtub.

“Sean!” I shriek before pulling him away from the water. This time, I wasn't able to stop my tears. I cupped his face while tapping his cheeks.

I know he's alive. He's alive.

“Sean, wake up!” I screamed on the top of my lungs. I was crying my heart out, I was so weak just even watching him like this.

I feel relieved when he started coughing before opening his eyes. I hugged him tight, closing my eyes firmly, and letting the tears stream down to my face. I badly wanted to scream and shout everything out.

I'm already tired from everything.

I have already got enough but giving up is a choice I will never pick.

I felt so empty just by that sight. My soul was seemingly leaving my body behind.

I thought he's gonna leave me behind.

“A-Are you okay?” I asked, panic was evident in my voice. He looked at me with a smile. A warm smile like nothing happened.

I'm already soaking while cupping his cold face. He was just smiling like something good happen while he was drowning.

Is he perhaps hallucinating while taking a shower?

“I'm fine. Why am I here?” I tried to be patient while grasping on both of his hands. I deeply sigh before wiping my tears.

“Were you crying?” He asked again while helping me to wipe my tears. I remained silent, gathering my strength after what happened.

“Earlier, you were even smiling while were on the flower field.” What?!
