Lilith's POV
I landed my ship at the destination given to me by the Emperor. I decided to come alone instead of bringing any of the clones with me; having them here would have been an unnecessary use of resources. The orders I've been given can easily be taken care of solely by me, especially since the unfortunate souls are unaware of my arrival. Nor will they know my purpose when they do see me; they remain oblivious to the fact that I am well informed about their undisclosed duplicitous operation.
I stood up from the pilot chair, and leisurely pressed a few buttons before flipping the switch that would shut my ship down completely. Once I was done, I turned to walk towards ramp, but then I quickly paused after I felt a familiar presence in the room.
He wasn't physically on this ship with me, since I'm sure he knew that if he came near me, I would be forced to kill him. So instead, he was using force projection. Which is something he does quite often, although I'm unsure if he knows that I am aware of this, since I have never once acknowledged him. I simply pretend he's not there, like he's nothing but an inconvenient hallucination. Which is what I thought he was at first, I thought he was a manifestation of my guilt. But I soon realized that wasn't the case.
I sighed heavily as I closed my eyes; I was getting tired of it though, I couldn't handle the memories that arrived with his company, "This is getting old, not to mention it's incredibly stupid of you." I spoke to him for the first time in the past year, before turning around to face him. He looked completely stunned by my sudden talkativeness, "You are only strengthening a connection that will eventually aid me in finding you."
He shook his head slowly with a solemn look in his eyes, "Find me, you will not."
I chuckled as I crossed my arms and leaned my back against the dashboard behind me, "Yes I will Yoda. Not only are you a traitor to the Empire, you are a traitor to me. You betrayed me just as much as the others did."
He stepped closer with his cane in hand, "Listen (y/n); betrayed you I did not, Skywalker did not-"
I held my hand up to stop him from speaking as my eyes burned over with fury, "Do not say his name," I growled through gritted teeth as I tightened my fist; the sound of that name always sends a sharp agonizing pain straight into my chest. A name that once brought me love and happiness, now brings me nothing but suffering, "And do you seriously expect me to believe a word that comes out of your traitorous mouth?" I spat as I pushed myself off of the console and stepped closer to him.
Desperation filled his eyes, and his neck slowly lifted so his gaze could stay locked with mine as I moved closer, "Yes, only want to help you I do. Miss you I do."
His words may have affected me a year ago, but now, my cold heart felt nothing.
I bent down so I was now at his eye level, and I slowly brought my hand up to un-click my mask from its place, before bringing it down, "If that's true, then tell me where they are." I asked in my normal voice. The tainted air burned, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle at the moment.
His eyes visibly watered as his gaze scanned my scarred face, "Know where they are I do not." He spoke when his eyes landed back on mine. I could see my own yellow glow reflecting from his irises.
