Lilith's POV
"Stop!" Padme screamed in pain as I pressed the crimson lightsaber against her cheek, and listened to the sizzle of her scorching flesh.

I shook my head as I turned my attention to her other cheek, "No." I stated bluntly, before removing the blade and pressing it against her other cheek. The room echoed with her intense screams of agony, and it played in my ears like sweet music,

"Please (y/n)," She begged in a loud cry, "This isn't you!"

I chuckled before removing the blade from her skin, and retracted it before placing the hilt back on my belt, "How would you know? You hardly even knew me; you were too busy plotting your little escapades with Brian."

She nodded slowly in agreement, "I know, I know I never gave you a chance and I'm so sorry for what I did; it was wrong," She admitted while she continued to sob in pain from her previous wounds, "But I know the real is you still there, she has to be. The girl who loves Anak-"

I gripped her neck harshly to shut her up, "You know nothing." I growled as I got in her face, "I no longer care about him, he is nothing to me."

Her watery brown eyes stayed locked with mine as she struggled to breath, "If you don't care," She choked out, using what little oxygen I was allowing her to have, "Then why are you torturing me?" She asked.

I removed my hand so she could breathe, "Elaborate."

She inhaled deeply as her head hung down, since I had her chained up against a wall, "You're still angry with me for what I did to you and him, that shows you do care."

I shook my head as I backed away from her, "I just don't like you." I responded in denial.

She laughed weakly, "I don't like me most of the time either. But look, I'm not proud of what I did. I was stupid and I was selfish, and I'm so sorry (y/n)." She gazed up at me with sincere apologetic eyes.

I glanced away from her, "Your apology is wasted; as I told you, I don't care." I spat as I turned on my heels to leave the room.

"Wait," She stopped me, just as I reached the door, "What happened to you? Why did you turn your back on him?" She asked sincerely.

I snorted through my nose without turning around, "I didn't. He turned his back on me when he left me to die." I informed her in a growl of pain, although I'm not sure why I was telling her any of this. She didn't deserve any type of explanation.

"No; he would never do that (y/n), he loves you."

I dropped my head down as I squinted my eyes closed to suppress the emotions her words were conjuring forward, "People fall out of love Ms.Amidala."

"Not Anakin."

I opened my eyes, and the tears I've suppressed for almost a year; flowed down freely, "Is that what you really believe?" I turned my head slowly to meet her gaze.

She nodded with desperation in her eyes, "I do, I don't believe the love he had for you will ever die; I was stupid to try and ruin it. I never stood a chance (y/n), because you held his heart from day one, and I know you still do."
