Anakin's POV
I stood in an unknown place, completely surrounded by darkness. Below me was water, rising up until it reached my knees, and it was cold; freezing cold. Making me shiver as I began strutting through the dark liquid, where nothing underneath was visible to me.

I was aware that I was dreaming. But it was a dream unlike any other, I've never been this alone before, and I've never been in this place before. I spun around in circles, trying to figure out where to go, and trying to understand the purpose of this dream.

Usually all my dreams have some type of meaning. Wether it's my guilt over failing (y/n), my pain over losing her, and even the guilt I felt over failing the order. I was supposed to be their chosen one, to create a balance, and bring peace. But it was my failure that brought death and destruction, and my selfishness that brought an end to thousands of lives; hell maybe even millions, she's been a busy woman.

"Ani!" I heard my name being called in a voice that I've been so desperate to hear for over a year,

"(y/n)?" I looked around quickly; trying to find out where her voice came from.

Then I heard her scream, along with a loud splash, "Anakin help me!"

The splash came from behind me, and I turned around quickly; noticing the water moving in small waves while hands in the distance could be seen coming out of the water. I noticed a shiny object on one of the fingers, instantly recognizing it as (y/n)'s engagement ring.

"Princess!" I ran through the water in her direction. Until the ground below me disappeared, like the ocean floor once you reach the open waters. I fell into the deep trench like opening, and struggled to keep myself above the water. Till I realized that I wasn't 'drowning', in fact, I could breathe. I touched my face, noticing an aqua breather resting on my mouth; like it had always been there.

I kept my eyes open as best as I could, and I could see (y/n)'s figure in the distance; struggling to stay above water.

I quickly swam over to her; listening to the sound of her panicked screams as she tried so hard to keep herself from drowning in the dark water, "I don't want to go!" She cried in desperation, and even though I knew it wasn't real, it broke my heart to hear her this way.

I finally reached her, and I grabbed ahold of her, keeping her floating above the water, our wet faces faces so close, "I got you baby, I'm right here." I held onto her as tight as I could, my drenched hair was clinging to my face, as was hers.

Her (y/e/c) eyes stared into mine, and they held deep fear while her entire body was shivering, "Don't let me drown." She begged, clinging to me like her life depended on it.

"I won't," I hugged her while small waves of water crashed into us, and I had to spit out the bitter liquid.

But suddenly, the waves calmed down. The water fell silent, and it completely stopped moving.

And so did she.

Her grip on me loosened, "But you already did." She whispered in a low whimper, then as quick as I had her; I felt her being tugged away from my grip, and she screamed once more as she disappeared into the darkness below. Her eyes becoming more and more yellow the deeper she went, until she was completely gone in a matter of seconds.
