Really quickly I wanted to address an ability that I have Sidious using in this chapter since it's rare and not used in the movies or shows, but it's called 'force cloak'(in case you are curious and want to read about it) but it's an ability that makes the user invisible to the naked eye of its opposer. Just wanted to let you all know so you didn't think I was making up random abilities haha Im not sure if it's something that Sidious knows how to use, I didn't read that far into it. But I'm just trying to make things more interesting/different and it is still just a fanfic after all ☺️ hope you enjoy this chapter ❤️

Anakin's POV
"Where is he?" I got to my feet and called my lightsaber back to my grasp.

The hand Ahsoka held out to me remained untaken and so she pulled it back with a disturbed look in her eyes, a look I chose to ignore. And it's because I knew why she was looking at me that way; she didn't like what she saw in my eyes, "Master-"

"I said, where is he?" I shouted and it came out sounding like a venomous growl. The anger in my voice shook the floor beneath our feet and flickered the lights back on.

Now that I had light to see, I spun in a circle, looking at every corner and crevice in the large room for the snake I came to tear apart.

But the only people I could see were Ahsoka, who was standing next to me looking around the room just as I was for our common enemy; and then Rex, Cal, and Fives who were near the entrance of the room.

Cal was eyeing me with a nervous glare, as if I was a bomb waiting to go off; while both Rex and Fives scanned the room with their weapons, ready for anything.

Where the hell did he go? I know he's here, but he's cloaked himself, making him impossible to see or feel unless he wants to be. His strategy is to stay as far away as possible and play mind tricks since he knows that's the only way he's going to win against me.

How pathetic.

(Remember that Sidious knows Anakin is much stronger than him. The only reason he didn't fear him before in the originals is because of his weakened condition, but unburnt and at his peak of power - Sidious does in fact fear him. I got that from a YouTube video and if it's not accurate then I don't care lol I like the idea of Sidious being afraid of him.)

"When I ran up and kicked him, I saw him fall down over there," Ahsoka pointed to a spot on the floor that only held a single drop of blood. Now the only thought in my mind was seeing more spill out of him.

I glanced up to the empty throne and eyed the five red hooded statues that resided behind it in a 'C' formation. But something about them felt off.

"He's still in here somewhere, hiding like a little coward." I slowly trudged towards the throne. I could feel a pull towards it and I was hoping it was the forces way of telling me he was near.

"Wait," Ahsoka gripped my shoulder, and I paused with a side-eyed glare that could kill, "Master I'm so sorry about (y/n), I know how much you loved her." Her voice cracked and I clenched my jaw at her words, the mention of my fallen love fueled more hate into my heart. Especially when I'm reminded that I'll never get to hold her again, or kiss her, or make love to her. She's gone forever and that reality crushes the remaining fractures of my soul, "But she wouldn't want this for you."
