Title: The Healers

What inspired you to write your story?

The biggest inspiration, was my profession. I started writing not very long ago. A year back I wrote research articles, which were part of my job but they got published and I got so much appreciation from that. I wanted to write more, then. I thought about why not write a story about my profession about doctors and medical life.

When you first started your story, what were you thinking about?

I was sitting in my doctors room at 3 a.m in the morning. I was thinking about the problems, the daily routine of me and my fellow doctors. The insult I had from my senior resident. I wanted to write about it.

What made you think of the plot to your story?

Most of the plot came from my imagination. All the drama and relationships are created by my imagination but the medical cases discussed in it are true that I saw and treated in my daily life

What inspired the title?
The title of the story is inspired by a thing I say oftenly that as a doctor our job is not just to treat the disease but to heal the patient, to heal people mentally and physically. So here came the title "The Healers."

What are a few things you wish you could go back and redo in your book?

I wish I could redo the first two chapters of the book because they are so emotional and sad, I wish I could add them later in my book.

What would be something you are hoping to add to your book?
I'm working on the cast of the book, I'll add the characters very soon.
