Let's begin!

1) tell us about your story

My story is inspired by my love for the phantom of the opera, and my hatred for tragic endings. I believe every character deserves to find happiness - gracious knows they deserve it after the hell we put them through. My story also... dives into the darker side of humanity, and how hard it was to live in those times, when in Celine's case, money and blood mattered, and in Erik's, physical appearance.

2)Tell us about Celine

Celine, oh I love to talk about her. She's a darling and a daredevil. She hides her pain, and her scars, as you will soon find out, so well. I hope my readers will be shocked by her... accident. And I hope that they love her for her courage and determination to do what she believes is right. When she goes back to France, her homeland, it isn't because of her role as ballerina. It's because she wants to right a wrong and get revenge. She's confused, she's messed up, and she's kind. She is the type of character readers love to love and hate. Celine has her heartaches and her achievements. She is what I'd like to become one day, the embodiment of the balance between good and bad. For every awful thing she does, every lie she tells, she does something good. She herself is a plot twist.

3)Describe the mysterious guy

Oh, the mysterious guy, Erik, our Phantom. Also known by Celi as Erin. He has not yet experienced the events of the Opera Populaire. He is the prodigy. He is what villains start out as, misguided young people who were treated poorly. Now don't get me wrong, he is not a villain in the end of this story. But he does make bad choices, and he can be cruel. But of course, being mysterious, and being Erik, he has secrets and pain. He is scared of loving, though he tells himself he loves his 'Christine' Aka Christina Nilsson. (Another thing is that this is part history:Christina Nilsson did in fact live, and perform in Paris opera houses) What I love about Erik is his vulnerability. Yes, he kills but he feels guilty about it, yes he has several personalities and he lashes out, but inside, he's just as scared of the world as he is scarred by it. Every mysterious person hides something; if they didn't have something to hide then they wouldn't be mysterious,

4)What was the inspiration to write this book

The inspiration was my mother, who is cruel as Celine's is kind. I wanted to write something that was not part of my life. I am an opera singer, but I couldn't sing on stage. I don't have a loving prostitute for a mother, I have never lived in the streets, never met funny old women who hand me apples, and I have never been raised by nor fallen in love with a masked man. Though i wouldn't mind it. :) But the history and mystery of this story is important too. I have always been fascinated by the supposed ghost named Erik who haunted the Palais Garnier. I want to see the lake they found underneath the opera house, and the stage where Christina Nilsson sang. The letters she signed as Christine along with her artwork, also signed Christine. I love history, and so by combining that and a happy ending to an originally sad story... poof. I have a creation.

5) when did you start writing on wattpad?

I have been on wattpad for three years, according to my other account, alcat33

6) how did you get the plot for this book?

I got the plot the same way I got the inspiration. However, I at first wanted to have Erik and Christina end up together. Celi was not around in the first draft. Then I realized... Christina Nilsson married two men in real life, none of them were Erik. And I wanted to insert a character of my own and twist the story. Here we are now.

7) Why would you inspire others to read this book?

I would inspire others to read this for purely entertaining, psychological purposes. See what some people have to do to survive. Oh, and because many, I hope, want to see a happy ending between two vastly different people. Not to mention, they can relate to my characters, if I may say so.

And with the antics celi and erik get up to... the story is partially a comedy.

8) As an author, what advice would you give to beginners?

My advice... is to write what you love, not what you know. Write down your dreams, incorporate your hatreds and wishes. Don't write outlines, don't edit until you have finished. Juat write while you have the inspiration and don't stop. Unless it's an emergency. Then stop. But otherwise, practice makes perfect, and only you can judge the things you love. Love your writing and you have no reason for it to not be good.

9) Lastly anything you'd like to say to our fellow readers?

I want to say thank you to everyone, and I hope you find your own happy endings and crazy shenanigans. If a person walks out of a.mirror don't follow them, just convince them to follow you.

Thank you so much! It was lovely having you! Be sure to check out the story!
