It was a little bit later in the day and you hadn't really done much.

You tried to work on a drawing that you had been working on for a couple of days now but it felt like your creativeness was at an all-time low.

All you could think about was the future you were creating with Weston, what Thomas was doing, and the fact that you had just hung out with Kalynn again and things actually went really well.

You wanted to text Weston and ask what he was up to, but he said he'd text you and you didn't want to overwhelm him or anything, so in the meantime, you had been texting Kalynn to catch up on a few major life events that had happened between the last time you guys really spoke and now.

You decided to leave out the whole thing with Thomas... You weren't even sure if she knew about that. She didn't ask about him, so you figured that she probably knew.

She updated you a little bit about her love life, which didn't seem too eventful, but it never really was. When you and Kalynn hung out a lot, she never really had great relationship skills. You had tried to set her up with a lot of people, but she found the worst in all of them.

She asked you a bit about Weston, but you felt awkward talking about him and weren't ready to get into that with her so you quickly diverted the conversation to a different topic.

Things were looking up for you.

Your phone rang through with a long-awaited text from Weston.

Weston

hey what're you up to?

You

not much lol just hanging at home.

Weston

sounds cool. wanna come over?

The text that you were hoping for. You couldn't help but feel giddy about it. He had asked you over and come over so many times and you weren't used to that. You quickly began packing your stuff up and rushed out the door.

A few hours later...

You had gotten to Weston's around 5:00 p.m. and it was now 8:30 p.m.

You two were watching a movie on the couch yet barely paying attention.

Weston's hand was up your shirt and your lips were interlocked with his. You had never really made out this intensely, but it felt so good to take it as slow as you guys were going... It was almost intoxicating.

Kalynn had gone into her room a couple of minutes into the movie, you guys deduced it down to the fact that she could probably feel the sexual tension dripping between you two. So you figured the odds of her coming out of her room were slim to none.

Weston's tongue was finding its way past your lips and you, obviously, allowed entrance. As Weston shifted his leg onto yours, laying you down a bit, you could feel that he was hard, and it was no surprise that you were immensely turned on, but something about the fact that you two had been making out for the past 15 minutes and were still fully clothed turned you on even more.

You could hear the inaudible sounds of whatever movie that you guys had put on. At this point, you couldn't even remember. All you could think about were Weston's hands that were tracing down your body and skimming along the waistband of your pants.

"We can't do this here." You said through breaths. You knew what this was escalating to be, and it was one thing if Kalynn walked in on you two making out, but another if she saw you two fully undressed doing other things.

"But we've already been doing this here." Weston practically whined.

"Yeah, but if Kalynn comes in..."

"Ew, dude. Do not bring up my sister... Totally kills the mood." Weston interrupted.

"Yeah, well imagine how much it'll ruin the mood if she walks in." You argued back. Weston took a second to think about it.

"Yeah, you're right." He agreed, getting off of you and situating himself to sit up.

He stood up and awkwardly dusted off his pants as he waited for you to join him. He started to gather his things and you followed him back into his room. You noticed that he had left his phone sitting on the couch and as you picked it up to bring it into his room you saw a text on his home screen.

Marcy

hahah.. i mean that's cool.

Your heart sank to the bottom of your legs. You wanted to so badly go back to 30 seconds ago when you hadn't seen that text, even though your ignorance wouldn't have made the fact any less true.

Weston had been texting Marcy. It's not as if she had just texted him, but they clearly had been having a conversation of some sort. You continued to follow him back into his room and thought about what you'd say to bring up the text. As he shut the door behind you, you handed him his phone.

"You forgot your phone out there... Oh and also you forgot to text Marcy back." You said shoving past him to go sit on his bed.

"Listen. Y/n. It's seriously not like that okay?" Weston said sitting next to you on his bed. It was true, they really could've been talking about anything, but of course, based on Weston's past you weren't just going to assume the best of him.

"Then show me the texts." You demanded. It was the only way you were willing to understand him. If he had something to hide, then he'd hide it.

He began to unlock his phone, you watched where he tapped on his screen to make sure that he wasn't deleting anything. Weston turned his phone toward you and your eyes began to scan through the messages.

Marcy

hey... wanna hang tonight? I miss you.

Weston

Marcy... I'm not doing this again. things are different right now.

Marcy

what u settling down or something?

Marcy

haha... i mean that's cool.

You felt a sort of sense of relief knowing that it wasn't what you thought it was going to be. You also felt a bit bad for so quickly assuming that Weston was talking to his "ex." You looked at him with a sort of pleased yet sort of confused look.

"I'm sorry Wes, but you gotta understand where I was coming from." You half apologized.

"No, I understand." He did sound hurt, but he had to understand. When you met him he was an absolute player. He didn't really care about who it was that he was seeing or what girls he was leading on, and though things seemed different and he said he felt differently, you couldn't help but be a little bit suspicious.

"So I guess that kind of killed the mood." You joked, eliciting a laugh from Weston.

"I mean a little bit, but you're still hot and I'm still hard." Weston said with a smirk. You pulled him closer to you and resumed what you started.

Needless to say,

After that night... You were no longer jealous of Marcy.
