The morning came and the sun gleamed through Weston's room. You were unaware of what time it was but you knew it must've been early. You reached out your hand to find the sleeping body next to you, but were met with nothing but sheets and blankets. You jumped up opening your eyes, you looked around the room to find any signs of where Weston might've gone. You heard the shower running and were a bit disappointed he didn't wake you up to join him, but you were also kind of happy about the fact that he wasn't expecting sex, or needing it for that matter.
You sat up and just admired your surroundings, you were somewhat in the position that so many girls wished they could be in, though you weren't dating Weston, you were now more than what you were before... Whatever that meant. You looked around at paintings on his wall, thinking about what had gone through his mind while purchasing each one. You laughed at the placement of them on the wall. So obviously placed so that they were noticed in his streams.
You got out of his bed and stretched a little bit, you were wearing Weston's sweater but as it became hotter the longer you were awake, you decided to remove it, leaving you in just Weston's sweatpants and a plain white tank top. You decided to grab something to drink as you were very thirsty. Walking out of Weston's room and into his kitchen without him was weird, but you figured it'd be okay, it's not like you weren't supposed to be here.
"Goodmorning," Kalynn spoke, you jumped a bit at first, not noticing her making her own breakfast in the kitchen.
"Hi" you awkwardly laughed back.
"Weston is in the shower right now and I figured you were in there with him, but I guess now you're here." Kalynn said. You wondered if she meant that in a passive-aggressive way or if she was trying to make a friendly joke.
You and Kalynn had been friends before you ever met Weston, but when things got tricky between you and Weston, you stopped hanging out with her, it wasn't anyone's fault, you just had different feelings.
Kalynn was so caught up in her own life with her streams and her channel that hanging out with her and not being around Weston was kind of impossible, and you knew for a fact that he didn't want you around for anything but his own pleasure.
You stopped asking to hang out with Kalynn and she stopped asking you as well, it was nothing but a simple falling out. Though sometimes her passive-aggressive comments like this made you think that there was some grudge being held, you didn't mind though... Friendships, relationships, and siblings all in one... It was destined to be a sticky situation.
"Oh, yea... Hah. No... I'm just getting some water." You spoke, she smiled back at you and it didn't feel forced, it felt friendly, which eased up your stress a little bit.
"Are you staying long today?" It's almost like she had heard your conversation with Weston last night. It was an odd question to ask considering you were always out by like 9:30 a.m.
"I'm just guessing because you're still not in your own clothes and you look like you're not in any sort of hurry, which is weird for you. You're usually gone before I wake up." She interrupted your response.
"Yeah, I um... Weston and I talked last night and he said I could stay later this morning. Have breakfast... Just kind of, hang out." You weren't sure how much you were able to tell Kalynn. A year ago, if this were a different boy, she would've known every word of your conversation last night. This disconnect felt so awkward.
"Ah, I see. Well, If you guys find yourself bored... Which I'm sure you won't be... based on the nature of your relationship. I'm always down the hall." Kalynn returned back to her room to eat her food, you finished grabbing yourself water and found your way back to Weston's room thinking about your interaction with Kalynn.
