The sun rose again into Weston's room and you were finding yourself getting a little too comfortable being there every night and waking up there every morning.

Weston, once again, was already awake and practically ready for the day.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" You asked him with your eyes half-open.

"You looked so deep in your sleep, I didn't want to bother you." He flashed a smile back at you.

"You're a real gentleman, Weston Koury." You said, more awake than you previously were.

"It's what I do best." Weston returned back to whatever he was scrolling through on his phone. You loved the way he looked in the morning. He wasn't yet in his perfect state of being, but he looked more than perfect to you.

You reflected on the past couple of months, and though it was nothing but pain and torture, you couldn't be happier that it all led to laying here now, and not feeling like a burden... Not feeling used for your body, but also not feeling like you were threatened to be tied down.

You sat up and stretched out your body in the best way you could before you stood up to look at yourself in the mirror. It probably wasn't the first thing you should do to start your day, but you couldn't help it.

You looked at yourself noticing how your eye bags were a little bit stronger due to the recentness of waking up. Your hair was a bit messier than usual, but it honestly wasn't as bad as it had been before. You turned your head around and that's when you noticed it.

A hickey.

You weren't one for cliches and being "marked" by the person you were with, if anything you preferred not to show signs of your sexual life by wearing hickeys on your neck. You didn't even know how it happened...

but it was dark and very noticeable on the side of your neck.

"Weston? What did you do!" You said, as if it was a bad thing. He laughed back at you and pulled down his sweater to reveal a few nice spots right below his collar bone. You realized that making out for 20 minutes has its consequences.

"You weren't complaining last night." Weston joked, sending butterflies to the pit of your stomach.

You started to pull around on the neckline of your sweater to find any position you could tilt your head so that it wouldn't be as noticeable as it is.

"Relax, it's not like you have a family dinner later." He was right. It's not like you really had plans with anyone later.

You didn't want to admit to him that you were worried that Kalynn would see it. It's not like you were too stupid to realize that she knew what was going on between you. She's known for a while, but for some reason, you've just been too afraid to actually admit what is going on.

You want to be Kalynn's friend and Weston's whatever you were without having to intersect the two.

but it was inevitable.

You couldn't have the best of both worlds.

You and Weston walked out of his room to grab something to eat.

You didn't want to go overboard by making anything fancy, so Weston just grabbed an apple and you grabbed a bowl of cereal.

You two sat at the table just talking about random stuff that you guys wanted to get done today. Weston talked about working on some drawing concept for this animating idea he had. You loved when he talked about his animating. He was so passionate about it and didn't really share much of that part of himself with the internet, so it felt like something that was more personal and real.
