"Holy shit I can't believe I just did that!" I say, looking at Synna.

"It looks awesome, Star. Michael's gonna LOVE it!" Synna says, grinning.

"I'm with Jax." I say, again.

I got stars on the back of my shoulder. It really does look hot. Jax is gonna love it.

"You're with Jax for now, Star. I get it, Jax IS hot! Michael's hot too, though, Kind of a darker hot, not such a pretty boy like Jax."

"Michael is hot. Very." I just said that out loud.

"See! I knew it! Girl you just have to let go of thinking you and Jax are forever! I'm telling you, if that were the case, you wouldn't be thinking about Michael. Have you started fantasizing about him yet, like when Jax is fucking you?"

"Synna! Just stop. Really. If I decide I want to be with Michael..."

"Mmm hmm. At least you're considering it! I'm not trying to bust you and Jax up. Really. Just be with the one who makes your stomach flip." She says, smiling.

She's looking at her tattoo in the mirror at the tattoo place. "Scutter's gonna FREAK when he sees it!"

"It does look good. Wait, freak like love it, or be pissed?"

"LOVE IT! He wanted me to get another one for a while, he didn't know I was gonna do his name though."

Synna pays Johnny, our tattoo artist, and we walk out into the cold.

"So, lunch?" She says.

"Definitely."

"The place is across the street, but down a few blocks. They have the BEST sandwiches in all of Columbus."

We start walking, naturally we're facing the wind. I wonder if Synna's right. If I'm spending this much time thinking....no. That's rediculous. I'm just crushing. I crush on plenty of guys. I know where my heart is though.

"Jax is a really amazing, Synna. You just don't know him very well yet."

"I like Jax. If you want Jax, be with Jax. If you're so sure, why do you talk to me about Michael so much though?" Synna says, stomping in a pile of slush.

"He's always there for me. I trust him and he's good for me. He's hot as shit, fun, and just like me. We literally like all the same things."

"BORING. Sorry. Scutter and I are alike in a lot of ways too, but not completely. That's what makes it exciting. He challenges me, you know? To do things, try things I might not otherwise. I do the same for him. It keeps things exciting."

"Yeah. I can see that."

"Hey what if I got us together, no Jax, but the guys, you and me? Of course Laney too since she and Marcus are super glued together since Saturday. You could get to know him...as a friend. I'm NOT pushing him on you, just maybe this way you can see who he is, make your decision to stay with Jax...or not, and just get on with it. Plus the guys are HILARIOUS when their drunk! What can that hurt?"

What can it hurt.

"Fine."

"Really?! Awesome! Star, we're gonna have a fucking kick ass time. You just wait. I know which way you're gonna go after a night with Michael...the BAND, I MEAN the band. I'll text them now."

She pulls out her phone and starts texting. When we get to Melt, there's a small wait. The hostess writes us fake names and gives us them on a sticker.

I look at Synna.

"They call out these names when our table's ready. Hmm, Molly and Parker. I'm Parker. All Molly's are bitches." She smiles. "Ok, I texted Scutter and the boys about tonight."

I feel guilty. Why should I feel guilty?! I haven't done anything. They probably won't be able to come anyway, it's too short notice.

Synna is talking about Scutter and how amazing he is in bed, not caring at all that people are staring. I have to say, I wish I were more like Synna. She's completely care free. Just says what she wants, does what she wants. I think too much.

"Awesome! All the boys are in, Star! Hope you're ready for the night of your life!"

"Parker and Molly?" The hostess says.

Synna grabs my arm and pulls me in the direction the hostess is walking.

"Synna, I'm gonna need some alcohol. Like now, or I'm gonna back out."

"Oh, no, Star. You are NOT backing out!" She says, grabbing a waiter by his arm and ordering four Loopys.

Loopys. I do like those.

I smile.
