Star's POV

"Shit! I didn't think he'd show up! I told Nate to tell him I was here if he saw him. That was before Wade texted me." I say.

"I just told him you were in the bathroom. He seems ok, drunk, but not too wasted." Synna says. She gives me two thumbs up. "Go get his ass, girl!" She smiles and leaves the room.

"What you wanna do? I can get rid of him. I'll tell him you're with me. That's the end of it, you don't even have to see him....unless you want to talk to him yourself." Michael gets out of bed and pulls on his jeans.

"I'll do it. It's been hours since Wade texted me. He must've sobered up some. Who knows how he'll react." I get up and pull on my jeans and....holy shit, my shirt's in the fucking kitchen! Oh well, what do I care if he knows?! Not like he's Mr. Faithful.

I grab Michael's flannel off the end of the bed and put it on. Then I pull my jeans back down.

"Mmm, you sure you wanna do that?" He says, watching me.

"Fuck Jax! I'm not hiding anymore." I say, kicking them off.

He smiles at me. "Well, we got your back, Baby. Nothing's gonna happen. I'll go out there now, won't say anything though. You ok?"

"Yeah. I want this over." I smile and he pulls me in, kissing me.

"I think you walkin' out half naked, in my shirt...will probably guarantee that." He grins. "Just take a deep breath, you got this." He winks at me and walks out of the room.

Ok. Here we go. I flip my head upside down and shake out my hair, then flip back up. Whoa...probably not the best thing to do when you're drunk. I button up the shirt, pull on my panties and walk out into the hall.

I can hear Toby and Michael laughing. Please don't let this get too out of control.

Well, put your pants back on, probably make it go smoother.

That's true. What the fuck am I doing? Do I WANT to make it worse?! I walk back in the bedroom and pull my jeans back on. I have to be honest, I'm kind of hoping this knocks Jax on his ass a little. I don't know if this thing with him tonight was the first time, or if he's been messing around for a while. Either way, we're done, and that's what I want him to understand.

I walk down the hall and out into the living room. I don't even see Jax at first. I hear him before I see him. He's in the kitchen with Becca, Synna and Laney. I glance over at the pool table, the boys are over there. Everyone's drinking and laughing. Michael sees me and gives me a smile. Toby looks at me and gives me a you-got-this fist, not noticeable because it's down by his waste. Michael must've told him.

I feel sick. I don't know why I'm nervous. I guess....I just don't know what his reaction will be. Scutter and Marcus stop playing pool and have their cue sticks in front of them. Marcus leans against the wall and Scutter sits down on the edge of the table. Both of them smile at me.

Ok. You can do this, Star. You have to. Then it'll all be over. You and Michael will be free.

I walk further into the living room, to the other side of the counter, and slide onto a stool. Jax finally sees me and smiles.

"Hey, Baby! Are you pissed? I know I was supposed to come get you from work...I was down at The Basement all afternoon though, so...yeah pretty shit faced. Sorry. I'm still pretty drunk, but I think I can still be good to you." He says, grinning.

Seriously? I might throw up.

"Jax, listen we need to talk." I say.

"Aw, come on, Baby, don't be mad!"
