The Wizards & The Time Jump

Part 18

Grindelwald. Gellert Grindelwald had returned for the first time in 2 weeks. Sarah quickly rolled the towel back round her body and stared at him. Grindelwald stared back.

"Thanks for my present." He said pulling his new phone out of his pocket. "It took me about 3 hours to work out how to turn it on but now it's on, I'm enjoying it."

"Aw, you could have just came home earlier and i'd of happily helped you out."

"I know but I wanted to try and work it out on my own."

Sarah smiled at him, ran into his arms and kissed him no the lips. Grindelwald dropped his phone and kissed her back. After a while they broke apart and shared a big hug.

"I missed you so much, I'm sorry I shouted at you about the motorbike, I was just scared that you'd fall off it one day..."

"It's ok, let's continue this conversation later when you're dressed and dry."

"Fine." Sarah said. "Close your eyes while I get changed please."

Grindelwald did what Sarah told him to and waited with his eyes closed for her to get dressed. After she finished he asked her whether she'd like to go out for breakfast with him.

"Why don't we go out for breakfast...well brunch."

"Sure." She said.

Grindelwald and Sarah apparated down to the garage and got into the new car.

"I once drove past a place near our house which was a café, we should go there." He said.

"Sure, I should probably order something healthy as I'm getting fatter."

"No you're not, you're just eating for 2."

"I guess, but I keep eating every couple hours, it's really bad. I'll have to ask my doctor about it tomorrow..."

"Tomorrow? Why tomorrow? My birthdays tomorrow."

"Yes I know, I have a baby scan tomorrow."

"On my birthday?" He asked.

"Yes, I didn't mean to schedule it to ruin your special day but it just happened...I'm sorry."

"No that's great, am I allowed to go to it?"

"Yes, it's just a baby scan."

"How exiting, haven't you had one before with Gellert?"

"No, they weren't invented when I was pregnant with him and I missed my 1st scan cause I overslept..."

"Oh, what time is tomorrows scan?" 

They had now arrived at the café and were walking across the carpark.

"It's 11:00am tomorrow."

"Good, I'll make sure we get there and wake up early enough."

The café was pretty empty. There was only one of couple in there, they were an older couple with their grandchildren. Seeing this made Sarah smile as it made her feel exited for her child to be born and even more exited for grandchildren in the future.

Sarah and Gellert took a seat near a window and looked at the menu.

"What should I order, Sarah?" He asked.

"I don't know, anything you like."

"I want pancakes and coffee."

"Order pancakes and coffee then, I wanna order waffles and a milkshake."

After a few minutes a pretty looking waitress came over to them and took their orders. When she took Sarah's order she was rude but when she took Grindlewald's order she was flirty, she even winked at him when she left. Grindelwald wasn't angry about it so Sarah kicked him under the table when she walked away.
