The Wizards & The Time Jump

Part 23

A/N I already wrote this chapter but I accidentally deleted it, so I'm just going to rewrite it but give you a really short paragraph on what I had already written as I can't be bothered to write it again in as much detail as I originally did.

Mildred has not returned in 3 months and Sarah is getting really worried. Grindelwald got fed up with waiting for a cure or answer to why this was happening to his wife so he went with Felix to find out on his own. Grindelwald would only return home every few days to visit Sarah and the children and then leave again the next day. The children had already started to grow so much in the last 3 months. Benji looks exactly like his dad and like his brother Gellert. He even has his dads eye colours. Penelope looks a lot like Sarah but has 2 white eyes and Luzia looks exactly like Sarah almost as if she had zero Grindelwald DNA inside her.

Sarah decided to bake some chocolate cupcakes to celebrate the triplets 3 month birthday as today marked 3 months since they were born, Sarah found an old baking book which belonged to Mildred and followed a chocolate cupcake recipe. She followed all the instructions and then left the cupcakes to cool on the counter right when Oris came in.

"Hey Oris."

"Hi."

"I'm making cupcakes, but you can't eat any yet."

"Why?" He asked in his usual odd voice.

"Cause they need to cool for 10 minutes before they can be eaten."

"But I want one nowwwww."

"You need to wait for the food to cool first, why don't you go into your room and count to 100 and by then I'm sure they will be cool enough for you to eat."

"No."

"Well, why don't you help me in the mean time? I need help waking the babies up from their nap."

"Ew babies."

"Shut up Oris or else I'll tell your Master."

Oris grumbled and them followed Sarah upstairs into her bedroom.

"How do we wake themmmm up?" He asked while entering the room.

"We shake them a little bit and then pick them up and take them downstairs. I'll show you."

Sarah picked up Luzia and gave her tummy a rub which caused her to open her eyes a little bit. Sarah then picked her up and gave her a kiss.

"Ok, now I'll take her downstairs and put them in their pen."

Before Grindelwald left, he bought the kids a play pen so they can play downstairs even though Sarah might be busy cooking or doing something else. The only problem was trying to keep Lexi the cat out of the play pen while the kids were in it as Sarah always feared that Lexi could scratch one of the kids.

Sarah took Luzia downstairs and laidd her on her tummy inside of the play pen then returned upstairs for the others.

"Are you going to help me Oris?" Sarah asked.

Oris was stood staring at Benji who was still asleep.

"Is this oneeee a boyyy?"

"Yes, it's Benji, the first born triplet."

"Why is he so ugly?" Oris asked.

"Don't be rude, Oris."

Oris looked grump but picked the baby up and held him.

"Why not give him a little kiss?" Joked Sarah.

"Eww."

Oris decided to hold the baby and take him downstairs. Once downstairs, Oris basically threw the baby into the play pen but luckily Benji was not injured. Just as he did Sarah came downstairs with little Penelope and put her into the pen to join her siblings.

"The cupcakes look cool enough to eat now, Oris."

"Yay." Oris came running away from the play pen and up to the counter the cupcakes were cooling on. Sarah passed him one and he went running off into his bedroom with it.

"Don't get chocolate crumbs all over your bed, Oris." Sarah called after him but Oris had already shut the door.

Sarah helped herself to one of the cupcakes and then put the rest away into the fridge to stay fresh. Sarah then went and sat in the play pen along with her babies and played peekaboo with them.

Benji and Penelope loved playing peekaboo with their mum but Luzia was never interested. Luzia would spend hours looked out of the play pen door and out at whatever and whoever was around. Today Luzia decided to try and escape the play pen but before she had a chance to get out of the play pen door Sarah had already caught her.

"Stop running away Luzia, let's play peekaboo."

Sarah sat Luzia opposite her and played peekaboo with her but it didn't seem that luzia was enjoying the game as she kept pulling odd faces all the time instead of smiling and laughing like her siblings were.

Sarah noticed this and said, "Would you like me to read to you 3 instead of peekaboo?"

Sarah decided to run and grab a book from the living room and came back, the book was a kids story about a frog and a mouse being best friends.

"Would you all like this book?" Sarah asked them but obviously received no reply.

Sarah decided to read the story to them. Penelope and Benji really enjoyed the book, they would always giggle whenever Sarah would change her voice depending on which character she was voicing but Luzia did not smile or laugh. Instead, she would just sit and look bored.

Once Sarah had finished reading the book to her children, Sarah decided to breast feed the babies and then bathe them. After their bath Sarah put some fresh clothes on them and put them to sleep.

After all 3 babies were asleep Sarah went downstairs to have another cupcake in the living room. She took her cupcake out of the fridge and went to sit on the sofa, she tried her best to see Gellert's ern again but she still couldn't see it on the coffee table. After she ate her cupcake she stayed relaxed on the sofa.

Not long after relaxing on the sofa, Sarah fell asleep. She was only asleep for a few minutes though, after few minutes there was a loud knock on the front door which startled Sarah. Sarah had never really had people visit her. Normally if anyone was visiting her they would just apparate into her house which meant that the person knocking on her door must be a local Muggle.

Sarah quickly checked that she had no cupcake crumbs on her face and went to answer the door. She made sure that she had her wand on her if need too.

Sarah answered the door and was shocked but pleased to see that Anastasia was there. She wasn't alone though, she had also brought her husband and 2 children too.

"Oh hey Anastasia, what brings you here?" Asked Sarah.

"Oh nothing, I should have told you I advance..."

"No it's fine, come in."

Sarah opened the door wider and lead the family into the living room.

"Come in here, the kids are asleep upstairs, My husband is away."

Sarah gestured them to sit down on the sofa.

"That's cute..."

Sarah noticed that Anastasia looked sad, like she was about to start crying.

"Oh, are you alright Annie?" Sarah sat opposite her on a chair.

"I'm fine just slightly worried..."

"Worried? Worried how?"

Anastasia had now covered her face with her hands, after a few seconds she removed her hands from her face which revealed something very unnerving...
