The Wizards & The Time Jump

Part 22

Before long, Sarah's doctor and nurse were back in the room and Felix and Grindelwald were  outside pacing up and down the corridor. Sarah's screams were loud and frequent and each scream made Grindelwald and Felix look at each other worried. Although they both knew about what labour entailed it didn't stop them from worrying after every scream Sarah did.

After about 40 minutes the first baby was born. It was a boy.

"Ahhh." Shouted Sarah as the first baby was born. 

"It's a boy." Shouted the nurse as she picked the baby up and wrapped him in a light blue blanket.

"Oh my god! Another boy." Said Sarah out of breath.

For a while the the contractions stopped but after a couple minutes they started again.

"Ahhh." Sarah screamed. 

Another baby was born shortly after, it was a girl.

"It's a girl." shouted the nurse.

The nurse then wrapped the baby in a light pink blanket.

After a further 9 minutes the 3rd baby was born, another girl.

"It's a girl." Said the nurse as she picked the baby up and wrapped it in a light purple blanket and placed it in a cot next to her siblings.

After a while of Sarah catching her breath after pushing 3 babies out of her, the men came in.

"Hey Sarah, how are they?" Asked Grindelwald as he ran over to them in the cot.

"Good, they are all well."

"Bonjour Sarah." Said Felix who hadn't entered the room yet.

"You can come in Felix, you can see the babies if you like." Sarah said while pointing over to Grindelwald and the babies.

"No thank you, I'd rather stay here by the door." He said then sat down in a  chair by the door.

"Can you pass one to me, Gellert?" Sarah asked.

"Yes of course, I'm sure some of them are hungry by now."

Grindelwald passed the little girl in purple to Sarah as he held the little boy.

"She was the last born..." Sarah said.

"Really, who was first?" 

"The little boy."

"Aw, good boy. We should pick names." Said Grindelwald who was now holding 2 of the babies.

"Yes, come sit down and we can discuss it."

"Oi, Felix come here and help us pick names." Shouted Grindelwald across the room.

Felix dragged his chair across the room and sat on the other side of Sarah's bed. He then said,  "What names do you think will match their personalities?"

"I don't know." Said Grindelwald.

"I thought we could pick names that begin with the colour they are wrapped in so we don't get confused. So the one I'm holding is wrapped in purple so we need a name beginning with a 'P'."

"Good idea." Said Grindelwald, what's a good 'P' name though?"

"Penelope" Suggested Felix.

"That's a good idea. Penelope then?" Sarah asked.

"Yes, lovely, now 'b' for blue."

"How about Benji?" Asked Sarah.

"Good idea." Said Grindelwald. "Now another 'p' name for Pink."
