The Wizards & The Time Jump

Part 19

It is now 8:30am the next day. Grindelwald was already awake and making some cereal for Sarah but Sarah was still asleep in bed.

"Here is your breakfast." He said to her when he walked into their room.

"No, I want to keep sleeping."

"We need to be ready for our doctors appointment at 11:00am..."

"Yes but It's like 8:00am now...

"It's now 8:40am." He said. "That means we have under 3 hours before we need to leave."

"Yeah and the hospital is only a few minutes away, we could leave about 20 minutes before our appointment and still get there on time, stop worrying Gellert."

"But we missed the appointment last time..."

"I know but It'll be fine. Just come back to bed for a while longer..."

"No. I'm staying dressed in Muggle clothes until we get home after the appointment." He then marched out of the bedroom and went back downstairs.

Sarah contemplated whether or not to wake up now or stay in bed but seen as Grindelwald had already brought her some breakfast she figured she'd eat it. She sat up in bed and started eating her cereal. After she ate all her cereal she checked her phone and saw that she had got a reply from her friend, Anastasia. It said this:

Hello Sarah, Thanks for sending me your new address, I'll make sure to visit soon and I'll be sure to send you some baby clothes. Good luck on your baby scan. Love you bye.

Sarah was happy that she was able to keep in contact with Anastasia despite being spread across the world. She was happy that technology existed now, if this all happened 70 years before now, Sarah would have to keep writing letters to Annie which wouldn't be as easy. She would also have to post the letters using the Muggle way rather than with a bird. Sarah decided to write back with this:

Hey Annie, I'll be going to my baby appointment at the hospital in a couple hours so I'll text you when I get home. See you later.

Sarah then apparated downstairs and found Grindelwald, Mildred and Oris chatting at the dining table.

"Hey guys." She said walking in on them.

All 3 of them looked at each other and then to Sarah.

"Did I interrupt something private?" She asked.

All 3 of them exchanged looks before Grindelwald said, "No. All is fine. We were just wondering whether it will be a boy or girl baby."

Grindelwald then stood up and went over to Sarah, kissed her on the cheek and touched her tummy.

"Does it matter?"

"Of course it doesn't matter but it's a nice thing to think about, isn't that right, Oris?" Said Mildred.

"No babies are uglyyyyy either way."

Mildred then slapped Oris across his head. "Shut up Oris."

Sarah laughed a little but didn't believe that that was what the 3 of them were talking about before Sarah walked in.

"Gellert, can we talk in private quickly?" Sarah whispered.

"Yeah."

They walked out of the dining room and went into the living room for a private chat away from the 2 elves who were now physically fighting each other across the dining table.

"What's up?" Grindelwald said as they sat down on a sofa.

"A few things. 1 being why did you lie about what you 3 were talking about?"
