Chapter 34

Joe's pov

As Megan fell she looked me straight in the eyes. everything seemed to go in slow motion. her eyes were filled with fear and sorrow, almost like she was asking me to save her. When our eyes met, everything came flooding back! Everything about Megan, everything we did together! I remembered it all, And all I could do was watch her fall to her death. and that's exactly what I did, it was all I could do.

"MEG!" Lana screamed and I ran over to her. she started to sob into my chest, and I was holding back tears myself. then she looked up at me "are you crying...?" She said. I nodded and started to feel tears pour down my cheeks. "wait...whats that noise!?" Lana said and she grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me down stairs. My mind was completely blurred with devastation as Lana pulled me through the lobby doors of the building. until I saw everything. the police were here, they were packing away a gigantic sheet that stops people getting hurt when they jump from somewhere high. and then I saw Megan, sitting in the back of an ambulance with a cup of tea. she was shivering and wasn't blinking at all, she looked like her life had flashed before her eyes! She was just staring into her tea lifelessly... Trembling in utter shock. Brad came over and wrapped a blanket around her, which seemed to wake her up from the day-dream world she was in. and then she saw me, she looked me straight in the eyes once again... this time she looked happy and shocked to see me. I ran over to her and pulled her to her feet. "I remember" I said and pulled her in for a kiss, it was just how I remembered it. kissing her wasn't like anything else, it wasn't like kissing Megan p... It wasn't even like 'doing it' with Megan p! Kissing her felt like the greatest thing in the world, unlike anything else. when we finally stopped, she looked me in the eyes and a smile spread across her face. "I've missed you" she she said.
