Chapter 43

Eleri's pov
I came out of my bedroom and saw Megan, Joe and Zoe all standing in the bathroom door. "I'll go pack my things!" Zoe said and turned and left the bathroom. She only took a few steps before noticing me standing in the doorway to her and Alfie's room. we stood in silence, just staring at each other. "hi Zoe..." I finally said to break the silence. "I'm not in the mood to hear what you have to say!" She said in a quiet shout. i saw tears begin to form in her eyes but she quickly wiped them away. "I'm really sorry..." I said, knowing that she wouldn't care. she was upset and I could totally understand why. she started to walk towards me and, to be honest, I was pretty afraid! She stopped right in front of me. "move, I need to get in my room to pack my things" she said and I sighed a breath of relief. I quickly moved out of the way and walked over to Megan and Joe.

The look on their faces was not very impressed at all! "I'm really sorry..." I said and Joe looked like he was about to shout something, but Megan stopped him. "I don't wanna talk about it!" He said angrily. "but I need to apologise!" I said, almost shouting. "I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT!" Joe lashed out. "JOE! stop!" Megan shouted and pulled him back. "I knew I should never have agreed to this..." I whispered under my breath as I turned to go downstairs. "what do you mean?" Megan asked curiously. "I didn't want to do this! Alfie pressured me into it, he said that if I didn't do it then he would hurt me...and Zoe" I said. all of it was the truth.
