Chapter 41

Joes povs
I knew something was wrong when we pulled up to Zoe and Alfie's house. but when Alfie was with Eleri I flooded with anger. my sisters boyfriend was cheating on her while she was away! Anger took over my entire body and I couldn't control it.

I pushed Eleri out of the way and tackled Alfie to the ground. I could hear everyone gasp but I didn't care. I punched Alfie in the face and he hit me back. I kneed him in the stomach and we both scrambled to our feet. Alfie is much taller than me and it was harder to reach his face when I was standing. I kicked him in the balls and he winced for a couple seconds. He pushed me to the ground and started to punch me in the face. I could hear crying and screaming coming from Megan. "STOP! LET ME GO! JOE! ALFIE STOP PLEASE! LANA LET GO!" She cried while trying to stop Lana from holding her back. I felt the urge of blacking out come over me. But I managed to stay awake, just listening to Megan scream. suddenly the punching stopped and I looked around. James had practically thrown Alfie across the garden! I stood up and walked across to Alfie. I pushed past James and kicked Alfie in the face. he blacked out, finally.

I turned around to see everyone with a shocked expression on their faces. Megan was still being refrained by Lana. the fighting had stopped so I nodded to Lana, signifying to let Megan go. "JOE! Joe, are you okay!?" She said with tears streaming down her face. "im okay" I said and pulled her into my chest. "don't do that again! Ever!" She said and I smiled. "I can't promise anything" I smiled and she gave me a sarcastic frown. "oh my god Joe your nose!" She said and pulled out a tissue from her bag. I touched my nose and looked at my hand. as I guessed, it was covered with blood. I took the tissue and wiped my nose clean. i hugged Megan once more and walked over to James. "thanks, by the way" I said and man hugged him. "no problem" he responded. "Don't mean to disturb your bromance, but what do we do with Alfie!?" Alys said. "Let's just lock him in the bathroom with food and water, I'll call Zoe and tell her to come here" i said. "we can stay here tonight, Zoe won't mind" I said.

We all went upstairs, me and James carrying Alfie. we threw a couple of blankets, food and water in the bathroom with him. "should last him through the night" James said and we locked the door. I walked over to my bedroom and opened the door to find Megan holding a damp cloth. "what are you doing with that?" I asked cautiously. "your filthy! You were rolling around in the mud and you need to at least clean your face" she said and I sat down in the bed next to her. she touched the towel to my nose and I winced from pain. "ahhh!" I screamed and turned away. "oh my god I'm so sorry! I didn't realise!" Megan said and I looked up at her. she looked upset and concerned. "Joe I think your nose is broke-" I cut her off and pulled her into a kiss. she didn't seem to mind at all. I pulled away and smiled at her. "broken. I think your nose is broken" she giggled.
